Thoughts on the Bont?

I'm trying desperately to squeeze him in. With a breakeven of -17, he's going to shoot up in price after this round. Worst case scenario, he's still a keeper down forward and will make about 100k. Best case scenario, he's a bona fide premium.

If named, jump on. Low risk, high reward type of pick.

Got the big beach Bartel in my team. Got Dusty and Swan as other fwd premos. Is it worth getting Gray this week, even though he plays the Hawks and is set to drop in cash? Or better to jump on someone like the Bont, then in 2 weeks or so upgrade someone like Newton to Gray? Also thinking of Lamb-->Krakouer when he's on the bubble if Lamb doesn't play, potentially Salem-->Krak if Lamb returns, so would be able to swing Gray fwd after and sit Krak on the mid bench.

Haha tough is an understatement :P

Lamb --> Bont is money well spent, no hesitations there. What does your team look like at this stage? That sounds like a good move though, and then just hope Goodes suddenly becomes less old, fat and slow ;)

I'd hold another couple of weeks on Gray, I reckon he'll bottom out soon enough and then Port's draw opens up so he could cash in. I'd make him your next upgrade target, but for this week I think there's better value elsewhere. Yep, the Bont is someone who I'd look at, going to make a bucket load of cash and has a super high ceiling. The opportunity to get a certain keeper for 420k doesn't come around too often.

Always best to wait until the rookie is on the bubble, but if named next week, get on Krak for sure ;) You'll probably make a few options to trade to him with Newton, Lamb and Salem but depends what happens this weekend. Bartel --> Bont and then hold is what I'd recommend.
