Also, I didn't get to see the Freo game unfortunately. What happened with ibbotson? I need to start three out of Goodes, Ibbo, McIntosh, Saad and N. Brown.
Leaning towards the first 3, but I thought saad looked really good on the weekend.

Your opinion?
Unfortunately, only caught the last quarter of that one mate. But from a little research, I think he had the job on Westhoff - not exactly a role suited for high scoring.

Out of those, I'd start the first 3 :) Saad's still a rookie, and had one good game. I want him to do it again before he starts on my field.

Struggling with my onfield rooks this week Jay. Gotta pick 3 of:
Newton
Vandenberg
CEY
Cripps
Heeney
Can you see one of the Dees jagging the red vest this week with Toump + JKH out?
Cunningham is out for the Swans.. Does that mean Heeney is closer to a vest?
And Lyons now out for the Crows...
Confused! Anyone else?
Tough one mate. I'd go with Newton (named on the wing, and played well last week), VandenBerg (I can't see him being vested after his performance last round) and then Id actually go Cripps - you paid which price for him so I reckon give him one more chance to live up to it.

Heeney got like 20SC for that late goal which inflated his score a shower load. If any of those guys above are the sub, then can always sub them out last minute.

Grigg is a certainty to be the sub for Adelaide mate, so whacking the E on CEY is fine.

Have you seen the numbers Heeney has put up in Juniors and NEAFL? I would start him.

Hey Mate -
Dont know what to do - if anything -
Steele allows me to loophole the best score from one of the mid rookies. Cripps tonight for example.
Bartel is out, 'hopefully' Lonie isn't sub this week. I'm missing lambert and hogan.
$12K left.

DEF: shaw gibson newnes lamumba goodes mcintosh
emg: oxley saad

MID: GAJ Pendles Fyfe Danger Wallis Cripps ellis-yolmen Heeney
emg: Vandenberg miller Steele

RUCK: Mummy Belly
emg: Lucey

FWD: gray bartel martin swan salem clark
emg: lonie lamb
One I would consider is Lamb --> McGrath.

Doesn't sound good for Lamb, playing one game as the sub and then being dropped, whereas McGrath impressed last week and played every NAB game. I'd say he'll have decent job security.

If you make that move, it leaves you with a full stock of fwd line rookies and can still do 2 trades next week.

What do you think of this double trade?
Goodes=> McDonald
Cripps => Vandenberg

SHould I focus on getting Ablett out or stick with him?

Jay

In no position to give advice at the moment, my team is going about as poorly as Gazza's shoulder, but I will anyway :P

Should I delete my team?
Yes.
Should I listen to you?
No.
Should Port train more instead of just a 30 minute walk on Adelaide Oval?
Short answer? Yes.

Yeah seems fine to me mate. Oxley is one I'd look at if you don't have him already :)

As for Gazza, I'm holding onto him but its a 50/50 call. He has a breakeven of 220-odd so will drop in price next week... Or will he? http://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/ft_match_statistics?mid=3481 ;)

Not saying its a lock to keep him, but I won't be trading out someone who will still be a top 2 mid at the end of the year.

Just as I feared.. Too many issues, not enough trades  :'(

D: Simpson, Shaw, Hibberd, Lumumba, Goodes, McIntosh (Saad, Oxley)

M: Ablett, Pendles, Selwood, JPK, Griffen, Newton, CEY, Heeney (Vandenberg, Cockatoo, Miller)

R: Maric, NicNat (Read)

F: Swan, Buddy, Dusty, Salem, Clark, Hogan (Lonie, Lamb)

$14,700

Ablett > Fyfe is 100% happening which gives me 99k to decide 1 of the following possible trades

Cockatoo > NVB
Goodes > someone under 336k

Any advice on what you would do?

Round 3 trades are all about making sure you have the right cash cows. So I'd give Ablett one more week and get on NVB and McGrath before their price.

Would be handy if you had the cash for Goodes --> Docherty, but unfortunately not. Can't really see any decent options if you choose to trade Goodes apart from possibly Nathan Brown. He'll play every week and score 40-50, so its up to you whether you want that or not.

If it was my team, I'd do Goodes --> Brown, Cockatoo --> NVB. But out of the options you gave me, I'd go Cocky to NVB before I traded Goodes.

Im thinking Goodes to Oxley.

I have most of the others on the bubble.

Im wanting to bring in Rance as he is providing a lot of possessions and run and he is a P.O.D. which im after.
Also Bontompelli looks a must have.

Just not sure how to get them in?Only way is by trading Malcevski or GAJ?

Any Ideas?

Swoozie

Who should I be getting for Cocky? NVB or Rich? Have the cash for either.

Marstar

Ablett -> Premium
Cripps/Lamb -> Bont

Bont + Premium outscoring Ablett + donuts :P

(later)

Rich/Wallis/NVB -> Ablett
Cow -> Slaugher

3 Premiums for 4 Trades.

Thoughts?

Hi Holz...
Here's my team.... And my questions. I have not traded yet this season and have $11,600 and am going for league win.
1. Do I hold?
2. Do I go Goodes to NBrown and Miller or Smith to NVBerlo
3. Or do I do Luey to Grundy and Miller or Smith to Anderson
