Is a starting 5 of Ablett, Pendlebury, Beams, JPK and Danger a strong enough premium setup in the midfield?

Obviously no Jelwood, Rocky or Fyfe to begin with, who will all hopefully finish in my team.
Certainly. That's a very strong midfield. Ablett, Pendles, Beams and JPK are four of the best mid premiums you could start with. And then Dangerfield who I think is real value at 560k this year. I see him averaging mid 110s.

Really good setup. :)

is Cripps a must??
If named and not the sub, he's absolutely a must. Has shown good scoring potential in the nab, should have decent JS in that Carlton side and is only slightly more pricey than a rookie.

Even if he is the sub, I'll still probably pick him depending on other mid rookies named.

I'm about as qualified as Jay is.  :P

Jay, Nic Nat or Maric (and why)?

Wouldn't go near him as a mid, too many options around a similar price (NVB, Cripps, Wells, Rich). But I think he is a good D5 or 6 if you don't want to pick Goodes like the rest of us.

Has shown in the past that he can score and had a pretty decent NAB cup. Risky, but if Ross the Boss used him in a SC friendly role, it could pay off.

Hey Jayman

Can any team not have Swan?   ???

Nic Nat. Highest ceiling of probably all the rucks and the only reason you wouldn't select him is because of lack of durability. Maric has the same issue but not the same scoring potential and costs more.

Dangerfield easily. I'm really high on Dangerfield this year in Supercoach. Priced at 560, I think he'll definitely crack 600 and recreate his from of a couple of years ago. Looking for a new contract, he'll be motivated every game. Was clearly hampered by injury all last season and still averaged over 100. Lock him in and don't regret it :)

No. Swan at 460 is the biggest lock there is. I know he had a down year but I think his work over the previous half a dozen seasons better represents how he'll go in 2015. The way he racks up the ball, there's no way he doesn't prove  to be worth 460k. He's at his basement right now. Lock :)

Backs: Perfect. Can't offer any suggestions here. Just double check to make sure youll have no problem come bye time.

Mids: Can't fault your choice of premiums. With Ward though, would rather pay a little but more for JPK or a little less for Danger. Not to say that Callan won't score well (he will) just think those other two represent better value. Consider Van Berlo over Cockatoo - better JS and more guaranteed game time.

Rucks: No problems.

Fwds: Interesting to see a fwd line without Buddy or Dusty - your premium choices are very solid though. Love the Bennell pick. Consider Tom Lamb instead of Steele.

Overall, it's an awesome side mate. Only concern is that it's the same as everyone else's apart fron Ward and Bennell.
