Is Griffen a must?

Only reason I'd start him is if I planned on turning him into Ablett, and even then I'd prefer someone like Swallow or Steven tbh. Definitely not a must.

You'd only pick him if you think he'll be a top 10 mid. Otherwise he's in no mans land and is taking up a spot that a real premo should be occupying, and he's not even going to make 50K so you'd be better off with someone who'll generate real money.

I can see him surpassing 110 yes, not by a lot though but a little over would make him great value!

Personally thinking of a downgrade to Griffo myself as wouldn't mind an extra 100k to sneak in a +200k R3, waiting to see if he's named next week first! But would love to have a playing backup and CD being useless have taken away a Ruck stop ::)

Even IF Griffen averages 110, history suggests that he'll only play 20 games. If you have a rookie cover him and they score 70 then it looks something like this:

Griff: 110 x 20
Rookie: 70 x 2
= 2340 points

That's an average of 106.36

If you think he will go 112+, must.
108-111, very handy.
105-107, not the worst.
<104, waste of time.


Where he falls into is anybody's guess, really.
