Lions with new recruits Beams, Christensen and Robinson will want to get their season off to a strong start in front of a large crowd.

Will the pressure however get too much for the Lions and Pies will capitilise?

Reckon Lions will win this by about 4-5 goals

Just hope Swanny and Pendles go big

GoLions

Rockliff 52 possessions and 3 goals 1 behind
Beams 41 possessions and 2 goals
Lewy Taylor 26 possessions and 4 goals 1 behind

Lions by 43!

Nige

Lions will be too good here, could be at least a 5 goal margin.

I think we can win, just hope Trav and White start off the season well.

Ringo

Will be an interesting game if weather forecasts are correct - Rain and Thunderstorms predicted for Saturday - Saturday predicted to be the worst day of Easter.

May turn into a dour fight with contested possessions the order of the night,  If this is the case reckon there will be no more than 2 goals in it. A lot will depend whether it is actually raining during the match or not as the Gabba drains well but if it is raining water pools over the ground especially in both forward 50's.

Will be close. I hate buckly. So Brisbane by 2 goals!

Pies travel very well and have been written off by most so I think they will be out to prove a point.

Agree they do travel well but they have lost a lot of key players think Lions will get up here

Brisbane should win, likely to be a wet game with the weather around.

Ringo

If the weather holds there will be a big Crowd for this match which will add to the atmosphere.  Pre-Sale tickets for this match are the highest for any match since 2010.

Interestingly the player the boys are most concerned about is the small Jamie Elliott - Difficult to match up on.

Should be a cracker game to start the season for Brisbane.  Will be there obviously and tipping Brisbane by 20 and jaden Mcgrath to score a goal on his first outing.
