Could the sacking of Mckenna lead to very little improvement and another missed finals campaign? Obviously way too early to call but I thought it was the worst decision they've made as a club and more performances like that will see them well below the 8.

I fully respect Eade's past coaching achievements and skills but Gold Coast were going on a clear path at the end of last year, now they could well be going down a different path that prolongs development process

Probably should have started Saad but I think my 4 rookies will work (2 on field)

Newton worked up to a respectable score, his tackling should see him play every week since Roos loves guys that tackle hard

Salem I will take considering he didn't see much of the pill and he should score better most weeks.

Harley worked up to 96 which is pretty good considering he wasn't great and played mainly forward

Lumumba I expected more but again, I will take it at his price, he got the KKolo tag and tried to play loose behind the ball a bit but he should still get his midfield minutes

If in 6 weeks time they are still terrible then we can question the Eade appointment.
