Not much love for Tarrant, I would have thought he's a much better prospect than Hogan.

Shhhhhh

Locked at D6 for me

I know 15k isn't a lot but Tarrant would still be a fringe player and I am always wary of guys that are key position lock down defenders. I would take the young FF over him that showed a hell of a lot as a 17 year old playing VFL footy

Perhaps I should keep this to myself for my own benefit, but a few weeks ago Swallow said Tarrant is a lock for their 22

Averaged 59 in the preseason from 50% game time. Hogan averaged 50 from 74% game time. He maybe a fringe player but I think he'll get a decent run in the early stages.

#80
Tarrants in mine.

Saad, Brown, McIntosh.
Cripps, Heeney, CEY, Vandenberg, Miller, Lambert (Handy DPP link)
McLaren
Salem, Clark, Tarrant, Hogan, Lamb.

Vandenberg doubtful, think you may have to look elsewhere.

Yeah, I've got the cash to get Newman or whoever else is named round one.

Thompson, Hansen and blank which I would have thought the spot was between Tippett and Tarrant.

Grima is gone

Tarrant takes his spot and the rest as per normal

Mat0369

But those are the two guys going for the Grima spot. So Tippett vs Tarrant with Tarrant in front at the moment since Hansen and Thompson are locks

Think Robbie will get the nod based on preseason output although I didn't see any Roo games (just going on stats alone). The other thing to consider is Tarrant can be played in the forward line if need be. I think that flexibility makes him more appealing.

Like I said

Swallow used the word "Lock" when asked about Tarrant

RaisyDaisy

I should probably clarify that

Swallow said he is a lock for rd1

Hansen is a few weeks away, and Id imagine Tarrant and Tippett might have to fight for a spot once Hansen returns but I'll back Tarrant because he's been around for a while and can play at both ends. I think he should be able to score 60-80 most weeks which I'll take for F6, with Hogan at F7

Brown, Mcintosh, Saad
Cripps, Anderson, Heeney, CEY, Miller, Lambert
Obrien
Salem, Clark, Tarrent, Hogan, Krakouer

Most worried about the mids bench for something different this year. Cripps and CEY are pretty much locked, after that Heeney and Anderson could get vests, get dropped from strong teams.  Freeman, Vandeberg and Boekhurst no longer look like making Rnd1 teams.De goey, newton and nvb all seem overpriced. Tough to get the right mix.
