Originally I had Brad Crouch but he's broken another bone ::)   >:(  But that helps Cam Ellis-Yolman out doesn't it?

Patrick Dangerfield
Anyone who saw him perform in the Pre-season knows why, he is back to his best and with Brad down, that stint up forward may reduce back to more like 66/33. But the biggest reason to pick him is not just his price, fitness, form, age, maturity and contract. But it if his fitness, the new Coach Uncle Phil has em all fit and fired up! Remember Dangerfield's big scores are 160+ and he has done it a few times. Then a bunch of the 130+ scores often from not the most stats!

He is ready! There, I've warned you ;) Ave 122

Ricky Henderson
Adelaide's big tease player, it's not Smith although Smith will spend time in the middle making him a very good choice, Ricky has the price! $320k and mark these words! Hendo will be the link man from defence to attack with the Coach wanting the ball in his hands! This is his real breakout year and he is fully fit! An AA spot on the HBF isn't out of the question here

This years Brodie Smith: Ave 89

You already know by now but
Cam Ellis-Yolman
Budding talent after four years on the list, the new Coach has recoqnized his INSIDE game is where he flourishes and guess what? Brad Crouch will miss 8 week so, an un-subbed CEY is the perfect cheap CASH-COW ;D  Why? Because he's had a big pre-season and is big, strong and fit, he now realizes he can play at the top level and he is set to prove it early! 27 possessions against Port to boot!

Make sure you cash in ;)  Ave 75-80 early

Notes:
Hands off Taylor Walker he's mine and I want to beat you!
Brodie Smith, set to play midfield but does that mean his output is any better? Well he's in my team
Rory Sloane, expect similar output but he should be fitter!
The Sause: Just too expensive, perfect for an upgrade R2 when his price falls
Jaenschy, unsure what Uncle Phil has instore for him yet
Rory Atkins: Will come in at some point making a brilliant mid season cash cow
Van Berlo: I have him, LOCK
Reilly O'Brien, given the standards the crows are looking for and that is "Very high" First year ruck doesn't fit the bill atm
Sam Siggins! Gets a bit of the ball and aother preseason, awaiting his debut this season! Cash cow if bacline injury
Brad Crouch: Will make a great trade mid season if you are brave looking for a cheaper midfield gun

Ricochet

So you don't think Jaensch will affect Hendo mate?

Lovely writeups man

Antsey

Hendo I want to do well but don't trust him.  He's had one hot streak ever.  NVB has always been mediocre and will continue to be so as a pseudo rookie.  Only a good pick if you don't want to gamble on picking the best off to flyer new rookie.

Probably will pick Paddy.

CEY is locked.

I too had Brad Crouch.  Would be great trade down if you have a busted elite player around the time he comes back, his finish to 2014 was very good.

I know last year Jaenschy had a ripper pre-season but not seeing him in this years pre-season games is a concern, Im backing in Hendo atm and it looks like my boy Lairdy has the other flank but he might start back pocket if Cheney plays FB. That in itself is a concern but, there is a spot for Jaenschy should he be fit, he'll be pushing for selection.

Not sure if that means anything and at this stage, it doesn't. If Jaenschy is named on Thursday, i'll still have Hendo in my team :)

Personally if I were the Coach, I'd push VB back and rely on Lairdy and VB rather than Jaensch, puch Jaenschy up field either as a rotation or half forward with the exercise to move back. Prefer Jaensch closer to goal but still no word at all on what Uncle Phil wants to do with Jaenschy! But one thing ffor sure is he has a kick, maybe close to the best, better than Suckers imo :o

Tell me more about Hendo

I thought he had an interrupted pre season

His best year was 2013 averaging 85 and has never played more than 18 games in a season

seems very risky.

tbagrocks

I don't think he's that much of a risk at the price, he's fit now and that's all that matters after coming off serious injuries in the past

But he's set now for a big 2015, Hendo is such a terrific athlete that the Coach wants him as the third tall, floating back and taking intercept marks but, his kicking is penetrating enough for the Coach to want the rebound play to run through him! He's a bargin imo and if he can ave anything over 85, he's a lock, given we can simply trade such a cheap $320k player for someone like Hodge, Simpson or Eski if we have to, if Hendo isn't scoring as well as those boys when the time comes mid season!

The fluctuation in Hendo's scoring is largely due to his Utility tole where he was shoved everywhere to plug holes

Rest assured that he will be on the back flank at least for the foreseeable future

Capper

No to Paddy cake but yes to the other 2.

Have always had HEndo in my team and jumped of CEY when Crouch went down

Thanks TBAG - I'm going to need to mull that over.

Yeah as crows men we love Sloane and he is my second fav player but, not top 8 scoring SC noteworthy, some think he is but. His game is SC note worthy but that's where it stops for me in SC, noteworthy. Surely you'd rather have a Beams, JPK, Dangerfield, Boak, Fyfe, Selwood before Sloane?

SLoane wont get any better, he's as hard and as tough as blokes twice his size but for fantasy? Stretching it

RaisyDaisy

Danger represents so much value at his price. I just can't fit him in. Too many good options in the mids to choose from!

Yep, Danger looks set for a big year but like you I can't quite fit him in. For what it's worth I think Paddy will outscore Sloane this  year.

Your a hard man to please Tbag Sloanes SC averages have been going north since he started , last year close to 115 don't know what else he has to do to convince you , thought you would have jumped off Danger seeing it looks like he is jumping ship

sammy123

Danger, CEY and sauce would be the 3 i would choose. Would only touch tex if he is averaging 100 near his bye

I thought he was being overly generous, I have my doubts as to whether Sloane can match his 2014 output. The two previous years seem to be a more accurate barometer.
