I get the idea of making Morris a defensive forward but I just think he's way more valuable and comfortable in the backline on the games best small forwards.

A lot to like about last night. Usually when Dusty, Lids and Cotch are kept quiet it means we get beaten but the 2nd tier players have matured and grabbed the game by the throat. Exactly what we need if we're going to go to the next level

Mailman the 2nd

Yeah I thought Morris just looked lost. The kind of game he plays is much more suited to the back 50. The pressure he creates is different to ones that guys like Ballantyne and McGlynn do in the forward 50.

I actually thought Shaun Grigg was pretty good.

Haha nah, he wasn't bad last night.

Rance needs to be signed up ASAP.

Yeah we can't be to hard on Morris it's the coaches decision to put him there but couldn't help but think last night watching the game how would it be if Lambert had been in Morris's position but of course that was not the case

Yep, certainly does.

Also, Jake Batchelor played a fairly good game. I thought he was better than Grimes. When Astbury comes back, I wouldn't be opposed to Grimes making way and Batch staying in.

Brandon Ellis was superb, struggled in the first quarter but killed it after he was freed up.

Getting very nervous about him this not signing till the season is over does not usually end up very well  :'(

I think it was good how we won the game where our big three mids didn't feature much in the disposal count.

Full time possession stats: Knights (28), Lambert (25), McDonough (25), Petterd (24), Castagna (21) and Arnot (17)

Goal scorers for the Tigers are Petterd (2.1), Lennon (2.1), Lambert (1.2), McDonough (1), McBean (1), Butler (1), Short (1)

Our AFL listed boys did nicely in a loss in the VFL.

Tyrone also hurt his knee, hoping it's not serious.

Knights or Lambert could find themselves in the team next weekend if Deledio gets weeks

I'd be happy with either.

Thinking Lids will get a week.
