I'd drop Newy I didn't think he should've been picked anyway, but can see Dimma dropping him.

Also, Madonna was good in the VFL, I'd say he's in the mix to replace Lids. I'd leave Knights in the VFL for a little longer to get some match fitness.

Newy wont get dropped, I think Grimes or Batch will make way for Astbury. Not sure which one though

Batch was better I reckon, based off the last game, Grimes misses.

McIntosh the round 1 rising star nomination, what a game the kid played!

Kellogscrunchynut

Should get 3 votes to go along with it.

Richmond coach Damien Hardwick has revealed that Tiger star Brett Deledio would probably have missed this Saturday’s clash with the Western Bulldogs through injury, had he not received a one-match ban from the AFL’s Match Review Panel.

Deledio was suspended for one week on a rough conduct charge arising from the opening moments of last Thursday night’s Round 1 match against Carlton.

Hardwick, however, declared that Deledio’s calf complaint most likely would have sidelined him for the Round 2 Bulldogs game.

Interesting Ric. How long has he had it? Maybe more that a week if its a new injury.  :(

Knights was confirmed to be included in the squad in another article on the AFL website. Great news!

Jroo

Great news, he stays fit and he could be a real important player for us.

Nige

Honestly reckon Knighta has that x factor about him, really keen for him to be included in the 22.

nickstiges

Lambert in for Deledio.
Think Knights is unlucky but still happy to see Kane debut.

Nige

Yep nick, couldn't agree more.

Nige

Actually the other interesting thing is that Dave Astbury didn't get picked and that Grimes/Batch kept their spots.

Clearly Dimma was happy enough with their performances. Good on them.

Emg: Astbury, Petterd, Knights

Could still be a late change, but I guess match committee didn't think another tall in Astbury was necessary for the Dog's forwards.

They've only really got Cordy (last week Redpath) and Boyd and we've got Grimes, Rance, Batchelor and Chaplin.
