Vickery apparently getting knee scans after injuring himself in the VFL. Potentially could be ACL

Any news on Hampson from last week?

They said Vickery jarred his knee, could be worse but the club thinks it's not too bad at the moment. Scans will tell us more.



Heard nothing on Hampson, that's a mystery.



Tim Clarke said this about the VFL boys.

“(Ricky) Petterd was terrific through the midfield and up forward, as was Matty McDonough.

“Dave Astbury was really strong as a defender - he didn’t get beaten all day and gave us plenty of support back there. Given that he was stung by a stingray a week and half ago, it’s a really good position he puts himself in.

“Kane Lambert was terrific as well. He really showed that he dominates this level of football. Now hopefully he can push for a senior game.

“Chris Knights was very good today as well. Great centre half-forward involvements and really impacted around the ball too.”

Knights finished with a team-high 28 disposals, and had four clearances and nine inside 50s.

Lambert and McDonough each collected 25 possessions, while Petterd won 24 touches and kicked two goals.

Others to shine included Ben Lennon, who finished with 14 possessions and two goals. Matt Arnot (17 disposals) and Corey Ellis (16 disposals and three clearances) were also very useful around stoppages.

Knights or Lambert could find themselves in the team next weekend if Deledio gets weeks

I'd be happy with either.

Thinking Lids will get a week.

Vickery has been cleared of structural damage, could only miss a week.
Foley will also likely play VFL this week.
Unfortunately though Conca still a week or two away.

Knights for me, Lambert stiff again.

Lambert and Knights could both come in for Lids and Gordon. Gordon would be stiff though.

Good to hear there's nothing serious for Vicks.

I think Knights if he is 100% is the man, although Lambert seems deserving as well.

Astbury was very close last week too so you would think he will be right to go now. Who comes out for him?
Someone else is gonna be stiff there

I'd drop Newy I didn't think he should've been picked anyway, but can see Dimma dropping him.

Also, Madonna was good in the VFL, I'd say he's in the mix to replace Lids. I'd leave Knights in the VFL for a little longer to get some match fitness.
