If we play like tonight again this year then you have to question our finals credentials. We'll be out in straight sets with football like this.

The fact that we literally cannot cope without Brett Deledio is very worrying.

Literally a bunch of pea-hearted cows with zero appetite for the contest. Everyone not named Dustin Martin seemed disinterested.

I won't be surprised if we drop at least two games in the last month. Also, you can put your house on us getting slaughtered by North in Round 23, calling it now.

Nige

Oh and assuming North beat the Dees we'll be 7th. How safe are we? Is the great choke on?

Ricochet

Its one game mate and you've been one of the most in form teams of the comp recently. It's not ideal but its another little wakeup call after beating the best team in the comp last week, you'll be fine. Just chill bud

Toga

Seems we have a little trend of performing to the level of our opponent - we can beat the big teams but can't seem to cut it with some of those mid-table teams.

Forward entry lacked a little tonight, and when it got down there our forwards didn't really do anything with it... Titch and Deledio being out at the same time really showed how important they are to us.

It didn't lose us the game, but the umpires were pathetic tonight

Straight sets? Lol you have to make the top 4 first  :P

I had money on Adelaide tonight, Richmond have in the past lost the games they're expected to win and win the games they're expected to lose, as has happened in the last fortnight. Reliance on deledio would have to be concerning, and yeah seems you guys somehow change the effort or something depending on the quality of opponennt which is not what good teams do. Really tonight were lucky not to lose by 10 goals +. However should be able to bounce back.

Nige

Yeah okay, maybe I was little upset while/after that game.  :P

I agree we have to eliminate those performances or we will go nowhere in the finals , why we don't perform without Lids is baffling but the fact is when he does not play our chances slide ? as for the double chance one can hope but after last night I think we would have to be happy with a chance.

Richmond - the Deledio factor

2014/15

With Deledio

Wins - 21
Losses - 11

Without Deledio

Wins - 2
Losses - 7

* Deledio has missed nine matches since 2008. Richmond have a win-loss record of 2-7 without him in the team. Both wins have come against the Brisbane Lions.

Jroo

Don't worry boys we'll have Titch and Lids back next week, and drop Hammer, we'll be fine.

Big Mac

I think attributing last night to lids being out is a fair cop out

You lost the contested possessions by 32. Clearances by 21. Tackles by 20. That's not 'missing a couple players'. That's effort, and Richmond showed none of it last night
