First time I've actually noticed Edwards haha (can't say I watch many Richmond games though :P)

He played a ripper

He does go un noticed a bit but he's a gun and a big spark for us. Only player that looked dangerous for us

Mark Maclure "The tigers, they don't like a fight, they can't play 1 on 1, they have to have loose players, they hate it when it's 1 on 1"

Whether you like him or not he is spot on. We look great against teams who don't pressure us well like the Blues and the Lions, but when its a contested, hard fought game we get shown up and fail to adapt.

Makes me really question Dimma.
Wow can't believe I'm agreeing with that flog, but Dees were simply tougher. Disgraceful effort.

I actually came to this thread to talk about Titch, what a flowering gun. Fast becoming our most important player. Clearly our best last night.

Nige

Confirmed ACL from Drummo.  :(

TomK

Damn, that sucks for he bloke. Wish him the best.

Nige

Griffiths set to miss a few weeks with a calf injury. flower me.

Toga

Gives Vickery a chance to try hold down a spot in the team. Will need to show something special so its a good opportunity for him.

Nige

Foley was best on in the VFL, could come in.

This injury list is getting out of hand  :(
So many important players missing. Luckily no long term ones apart from Knights and Drummond but we desperately need some of the short term ones back in the side

Nige

Geelong next week at the G, they're not doing too flash either. We can't drop this one though because the next month isn't go to the slightest bit easy.

Nige

No excuse, but an interesting fact...

The side Richmond fielded on Friday night against Melbourne was the least experienced side (In terms of games) since Round 1, 2004.

Also over 400 games less experience than the Dees.
I'm really not worried or shocked about It that much. In fact I tipped Melbourne.

The disappointing thing was the manner in which we butchered the ball inside 50 and at goal and the fact that they were harder than us in the conditions. There's no excuse for that.

Changes for the Cats game?
A couple of Good performances from Vickery in the VFL will see him come in for the injured Griffiths.
If Any of Lids, Newman and Chappy are ready they will come back.
Foley had 30 in the VFL and will surely get a game

Nige

It really is just the same issue as last year when we were missing Lids, Tross and Ivvy.

Guys like Chappy and Newy are still very much role players in our side and bring experience, so getting them back sooner rather than later is what is needed.

Toga

Lids is key - our W/L record is showerehouse without him in the team.

Finally some good news..
Conca and Grimes to play some footy this weekend (probably VFL)
Deledio started running so should only miss 1 more
Chappy and Newy both on track to play

Ricochet

Conca... finally. Need him in WXVs
