The list above is on what I think the averages will look like. A few of those guys are probably interchangeable and I would probably bump Ryder up the list in terms of value due to having the DPP which could be critical with a drop off in rucks. It means you don't have to go out and field someone like Pyke or Dawson Simpson if you get an injury.

He was my pick considering Goldstein went the pick before and then Mummy and Sandi went in the next 4 picks

4 rucks went in the first 2 rounds of ur draft?
Yeah Jacobs, Goldy, Sandi, Mumford all went in first 2 rounds I think, although Sandi and Mummy were picks 19 to 22 or thereabouts

Jacobs went round 2 at I think it was the 3rd pick of the round. I had pick 3 (18 in the 2nd round) and the guy that had pick the pick before me took Goldstein (pick 17) so I took Ryder. I could put him up forward and planned on taking Sandi with my next pick. Mummy went to the guy with pick 1 in the 3rd round, Sandi the next pick and then I took Nic Nat. I think rucks hold the most trade value and can tend to miss games so the fact I can get some coverage with another elite player in Ryder was enough for me to take him in the 2nd round. I didn't lose any value in the midfield either, it actually looks pretty strong

In my draft league our top 10 forwards were:

Gray (pick 7)
Martin (pick 11)
Lids (pick 12)
Swan (pick 14)
Franklin (pick 22)
Bartel (pick 27)
Goddard (pick 28)
Zorko (pick 30)
Ryder (32)
Roughead (36)

Duff, Hurn, Yaz, Mackie
Pendles, Jones, Gibbs, Kieren Jack, Macrae
Nic Nat
Ryder, Bennell, Cyril, Adams

Picken, Jack Steven, Belcho, Waite and Gus Monfries

I am probably gambling a bit too much on ASADA but other then Ryder the other 2 are just bench guys with potential to score in the 90's

My NFL fantasy team was shot. I took AP at 4 and couldn't recover even though I had Murray and Forsett at RB. Injuries also destroyed me. I had 2 top 10 RB's, top 3 D, top 3 K and top 10 WR but the rest of my team was an injury plagued mess or guys that disappointed (I got sucked into the Patterson hype and VJax was useless)

22 Sandi
23 nic Nat
25 S Martin
32 Maric

Perfect example of a run

Since i had pick 10/11 i wasnt interested the first time round and it was done by my next picks so I just left it to grab Minson @ 70 which i hope will turn into value :P

It was good you grabbed Minno then because I was taking him with my next pick to offload to a ruck needy team. One team has 4 gun defenders but is starting Leuenberger in the ruck, when I saw that I was thinking Minno held more value at that point then any of the defenders currently available

yeah, thats a case for me of learning over the years, it is all well and good to ignore the run but thinking there will always be a bargain available isnt the case. In previous drafts I would have left the ruck another pick or two and you would have been screwing me over on the trade table!

I was very tempted to make Minson like 2 rounds before you took him, decided against it cause I felt that I would be better off at the time taking players I actually needed. Probably would've done it in a draft with non-FF members though :P

Do yourselves a favour and keep Taylor Walker safe ;)  pity those idiots at CD don't know how to adjudicate on football match significance, like when Tex "Palmed" The ball down to Eddie for a goal, he didn't score any points but sheesh, HOW GOOD WAS THAT!

Yeah Tex does all that "Team" Stuff that wont score himself SC points but I have faith he still goes 100+ as the other stuff will get him there, 110+ if CD wake up to themselves! So keep Tex in mind for a second-fourth round sneaky "Steal" Pick ;)

FYI this is the last post of mine on Tex before the season ;)

When he's averaging 80 half way through the season and you blame umpires or CD or Victorian bias for his lack of scores? :P

yeah in a draft set up where you may only have 4 fwds Tex carries plenty of risk as well as upside. Certainly a late draft smokey, but wouldnt be using a pick until my team was near completion

I agree, bench forward, or possibly F3 if u go hard on all other positions prior.
