Hello all, hope you've been well - excited to be back here with a new season

anyhow, would love some critics to get involved in the below and give me some tips on this first attempt

arbel

DEF: Think you should go thompsom -> Higgins, cheaper and think ahs better scoring potential. Keep an eye on rookies before R1
MIDS: Gray should be in your FWD line, no point wasting a mid spot when he can be fwd.
RUCKS: Pretty good. If read is only there for cover with belly then change him to cox. $7k cheaper and both have DPP
FWD: This is your weakest line. Cameron as D3 is too weak. Gray should be here. Think you also need to get salam or clark in, could miss out on some big points.

Not bad just a few tweaks.

Def: Solid def. Haven't seen Thompson in many teams so good POD but like arbel said, have a look into Higgins.
Mid: Agree with arbel. Since you already got Steele in the mid, you don't need a premo in there with a fwd status. Like the picks of Beams and Ward. Got Ward myself and personally think that he will avg more then last year.
ruck: Bit risky with Nic Nat considering he has only played the one nab game but I'm sure he will ease into things and will score higher as the season goes on.
fwd: Not a fan of the Cameron pick. Yes there will be games were he will kick 5+ and bag 140 super coach points but there will be games were he will score those 50s as well and as a KPP, don't think he should picked. Might wanna look at Clark and Salem who both had decent preseason and good js.

Nice team! Some minor adjustments and your side will look better :) Goodluck!

Thanks both, exactly the sort of feedback i'm after  :)

I'm sure my team will change 400 times this week

Okay, had a revamp since we know more about the rookies - it seems similar to a lot of teams out there, but any obvious mistakes or locks that i'm missing.  I will be keeping an eye and changing stuff as teams name over round 1.  thanks

Bully

Solid but I think you need a plan to get Ablett in the side, if you choose not to start him then you should really be plugging F6 as this will be a weak spot for most teams. Jack Steven is the perfect place to start and will save some dough depending on who you decide to cull. It's a tricky one but if you can get an extra premo in the forward line and stretch the resources to M5 then you will be well placed to capitalise on any slip up by Ablett. It may entail scrounging around in the bargain bin but there's some decent players available.

I have $19k spare and this is my side as it stands, i know the defense is week but I'd rather get more in mids and rely upon cash cows to upgrade defenders later - anyway, any obvious errors or stupid choices and concerns?

The Dish

Looks pretty solid.

I'd maybe go N.Brown over H.Goddard

Strong in mids so you should get a fast start

Team looks great mate... very risky in the backline but i understand your structure giving you that extra mid.

One of the different teams ive seen which is refreshing.

goodluck, hopefully your backline doesnt fail
