Defenders:

Kelly, Newnes, Lumumba, Ibbotson, Goodes, Saad, McIntosh, Hamling

Midfielders:

Fyfe, Selwood, Parker, Dangerfield, Shiel.D, Newton, Cripps, Heeney, Vandenberg, Ellis-Yolmen, Miller

Rucks:

Maric, Naitanui, Cox

Forwards:

Gray, Bartel, Bennell, Swan, Salem, Clark, Karnezis, Lambert

Cash Left: $2,300

Possible trade idea is Swan to Bontempelli and Ibbotson to Higgins.

Not bad... backline needs a little work, Ibbotson I think isn't fantasy relevant enough and goodes needs to be upgraded. Don't know about shiel at M5, don't think he'll be a top mid by season end. Not starting ablett or pendles??? interesting, think you need at least one. rucks and fwds are pretty standard.

I suggest downgrade shiel to a rookie and upgrade Ibbotson to prem. Pretty good team though.

This is deffinatly a good start mate,
As arbel said, Ibbotson isn't really fantasy relevent. The slightest knock could stuff his shoulder again also.... Fyfe.....As a docker supporter I love his game, an absolute jet but he is known to get silly suspensions. Along with his past shoulder issues I am keeping away just incase. I prefer Barlow.
The right backline structure is difficult this season. I think you can't have more than one rookie priced starter on that line this year. If you want to go with that philosphy you'd have to get rid of Goodes I think. my structure atm is Shaw, Birchall, Taylor, Newnes, Kolodjashnij, rookie. Does a stucture like that appeal to you?
Prefer T Mitchell over Swan too.
Some would be critical of the Shiel pick but you have to take risks to get anywhere in this game so if you think he will be a keeper then go for it!
All other selections are great picks
After some slight adjustments your side will be pretty good. A great start
