Lions complete diddlepoops for waiting till he reinjured it to send him in.  Can't find any reason at all that it was worth waiting

Made no sense..

Agree but i reckon Beams had a bit to do with it. He would of fought hard i reckon to keep playing now the medical staff will over rule him i imagine and a date with a surgeon is just around the corner. Should of happened already though, nothing to gain by playing him and the medics should of really called it two weeks ago if not before.

This is true - he wanted to play the season out and medical staff agreed reluctantly but with the proviso that if further damage ocurred it would be season over. With Suns draw yesterday as well little to be gained for us as well

A sign of a bad medical staff if they are willing to give in to a player's requests.

Jesty

Surprised Buddy continued to play after half time or even be named to start with. Think chances are he will be out for a few?

OLLIE WINES SUBBED OUT after dislocating (?) his right shoulder. Talk that it could be his season.

Yes GAJ became JELWOOD this week, and hoping Fyfe back next week?

Happens all the time. The only difference here is the Lions have nothing to play for.

Fyfe "50/50" for Saints:

My two bench zeros play on Friday night so this would give me a captains loophole option haha

Correction - Hope to avoid wooden spoon is something to play for but need to weigh that up against players welfare though.  The next 2 games will imo decide final positions for Lions, Suns and Blues.

What are people going to do with Fyfe?

If he doesn't get named, then it's a no brainer and I will trade him out because I want to win my final and go straight to the prelim

But what if he does get named? Freo play the last game of the round so a late out could really limit the option. Mundy would be the guy I would get in that situation, but I actually prefer to trade Fyfe to Deledio or Bennell. Being my last trade, those 2 with DPP would be extremely handy, and their both in ripping form. I prefer them both over Mundy

That being said, Lambert plays Friday night so I will loophole him first. If he does enough than I keep Fyfe and the trade, but the catch here is that I lose Deledio as an option

I'm thinking loophole Lambert, and if he doesn't do enough then trade Fyfe to Bennell

Not SC relevant as we're all too low on trades to be playing around with rookies.

But there's a young man in the VFL who has gone 17 touches (3 quarters), 20 touches 3 goals, 19 touches 2 goals, 21 touches 3 goals. Coach says 2 more VFL games and he's under consideration.
