.@freodockers Mundy not training (migraine) Fyfe has a groin injury - Lyon says could miss one or two maybe more. @TenNewsPerth @TimGossage

Was going to trade in Mundy this week, might have to hold seeing that Freo play last.
Everyone with solid M9 cover will be laughing if Fyfe misses a few, I have Saad and Lambert/Steele so it could be worse

Ricochet

Didn't the guy leading at around the byes trade Fyfe out before his bye?

Since then.... BYE,138, 89, 80, 92, 134 and then could miss 1-3 weeks

(i think he traded him back in though)

Just traded in Mundy, if it's just a migraine then I'll leave it, should be right by Sunday.

Might be worthwhile trading out Fyfe then?

LordSneeze

If its only a migrane i would think he will play. If it is something worse, like a back issue, neck issue then he wont.

i was all set to trade cripps out but if fyfe is missing for awhile i might have to hold the healthy option in cripps..hmm

"1 or 2 maybe more" sounds like he wont be back next week at least and that's the first round of SC finals

I have one trade left - would be ballsy, but do we dump Fyfe? A few weeks ago no chance, but it's business end now and finals next week

On Fyfe

"The situation is he (Fyfe) has got a bit of a groin," Lyon said.

"We're going to build his strength. We're not resting him.

"He's actually got a legitimate injury.

"We're treating it as one week. Obviously, if it doesn't come up next week then it will be a two-week injury.

"Hopefully it's one week, but if it needs to be two it will be two. That's what I said to the doctor - if it needs to be six weeks, it will be six.

"But we're optimistic that hopefully it's less rather than more."

On Mundy

"We expect him to play," Lyon said.

"I'd be really disappointed if he didn't play."

And then

Lyon said it was more than likely they would field a debutant this week but he could not confirm which one Lachie Weller, Connor Blakely or Ed Langdon would play.

"It's more likely than unlikely," Lyon said.

"But again, we've just got to get our whole mix (right). If Mundy didn't come up, that would change the whole mix, but it's more likely (he will play).

Sounds like a lot of doubt for someone who just has a migraine...

AFL advises Michael Hurley has withdrawn from Essendon team for Sunday's match v WBulldogs.
Tayte Pears into 25.

Yet another out that is Fantasy relevant for some with Hurley out.

Man, might have to re-think then. It does sound more than a migraine.

Too much doubt on Fyfe even getting up next week, so again I've changed my trades. Ablett and Fyfe out, Danger and Priddis in. Brodie and benchman Cripps stay in the side for the rest of the year. :-\

I'm really stumped with what to do with Fyfe

Part of me says I should keep my last trade just in case I cop an injury this weekend or next, but the other part of me says if I can win this week, then win my first final next week I will go straight through to the prelims

I can actually keep Fyfe, and use my last trade to upgrade Steele to a 440k mid, so someone like Shuey for example and have him at M9 covering Fyfe while he is out, Lambert covering forwards but no cover down back. Hmmmm it's tempting

Yeh I don't mind that, getting in a better M9 to cover Fyfe this week. This is the time of year you're bound to have 1 week injuries

Yeah I think it makes sense, but you always get that worried feeling when you know you're using your last trade lol

I have GAJ and Steele and I have just enough to bring in Sidebottom and Shuey for them.

If I cop an injury down back I am flowered though, so I guess the question is - do I just field Steele this week for Fyfe and keep the trade, or be aggressive and try and go for the win and hope I can win this week and next week without copping any injuries or outs?

How close will your league match be this week? Do your opponents also have Fyfe?

I would keep the trade for finals to cover your defense
