anybody know anything about Bennells likely/unlikely return this week?
GC Performance manager says he'll be tested on Thursday.

However the injury list (as of yesterday) has him listed as 1 week.

Looks like he re-injured the ankle in the reserves on the weekend. My sons fiance and he are friends and ive asked her to fire off a text to confirm how he's going. Will post the reply when i hear back from her. I went early on him confident he'd hold his spot so it's done me major damage.

Could probably get some from Carlton now that the great man has retired :)

Anyone watch the video in that link too. OK, so the video was from the 9th, and it says the list was updated on the 10th, but there are inconsistencies between the two.
Video says Steven May came out of the weekend with a slight adductor strain and will be tested on Thursday and given every opportunity. List says 2 weeks?
Video says Shaw had a viral infection and is a bit flat, but will be tested on Thursday and given every opportunity. List says 1 week?
Video says Bennell has a little bit of a strain in his calf, but again will be tested on Thursday and given every opportunity. List says 1 week?
These 3 cases sound more like 'TEST' to me... ::)
So, who knows. But the AFL site seems to be more in line with what's being said in the video.

Roos says Aaron vandenBerg will miss with a slight hamstring injury but Jack Viney is okay.

I can handle 1 week

In the words of Bomber Thompson, "I've never heard of a one week hammy."

Unless its more of a corky type of injury?

SuperCoach Insider ‏@SC_Insiders  32m32 minutes ago
Christian Salem has hurt his 'good' hamstring at training, will miss another 3-4 weeks. Aaron vandenBerg (hammy) also set to miss a month

Thats gotta hurt people for rd 12, not me though :)

The only explanation I have is between Tuesday and Wednesday they decided all 3 needed the week off.  A bit of a head scratcher.

Oh well I suppose I can wait 20 hours for teams... maybe.
