GOLD Coast's injury crisis has deepened, with Rory Thompson and Adam Saad already ruled out of Saturday's game against West Coast, while Tom Lynch is also in doubt.

Thompson has aggravated a hip flexor problem that forced him to miss in round five, while Saad picked up a minor hamstring injury in Saturday night's loss against Adelaide, and Lynch is battling a corked calf.

Suns coach Rodney Eade said his injury-hit side would train with just 20 fit players at Tuesday's session.

The list of those unavailable already includes the likes of Gary Ablett, Jaeger O'Meara, David Swallow, Nick Malceski, Jack Martin and the suspended Steven May.

Eade said Harley Bennell, Trent McKenzie, Brandon Matera and Danny Stanley would all be considered to play against the Eagles after serving a one-match sanction for breaking club-imposed alcohol rules.

Yeah but only 3 (could debate 4) of the 11 are best 22, and 2 of those are exclusively midfielders so wouldn't effect his selection
