Judging by the way Ablett was out there Doc was probably right.

Maybe, or it could be that Gaz is just short of a gallop. We'll soon find out.

Being at the game it really seemed like a lot of it was mental for Ablett - making quick passes, not really looking for targets - once he is more comfortable out there he will slow things down and we should see him back to his best.

His shoulder may have been sore, but mine would be sore too if I was caught in one of those tackles I saw on the weekend

Just a small update on Bellchambers from the Bombers website.

"Ruckman Tom Bellchambers hurt his knee just before half time but there is no structural damage and he is set to play against the Hawks."

Make of that what u will.

That would screw a lot of teams if he missed a game, given many people switched him to R2 when they saw what was happening with ruck scores.

7 News just said Bartel didn't go through recovery today and he's unlikely for this week.  Say the club will take a conservative approach with him on a 6 day turn around.

Damn, I guess Hogan will need to perform then.

Good thing Geelong play Sunday, we can loophole Lamb if we need to

Jroo

My only donut is ROB in the rucks which means my only VC option is Dusty.

I think I'll pass on loopholing Lamb in order to have a heap more VC options (Hogan E, Bartel on ground)

I have McGrath but same scenario, a small mercy just the same.

I bet some poor soul out there has Bartel, Lids, Sidebottom & Rocky.

Interesting injury report:
Bartel - test,
Biggs - available,
Parker - available
Callum Sinclair - available
No mention of the general (or otherwise) for Ablett  ;D

Parker was stretchered off and is available yet Jimmy will miss, I guess that's the product of being Ko'd umpteen times.
