Would love some info on Kade Simpson, being as my back line is presently a joke (with Hodge suspended and Saad injured). If it's going to put him out for a month I'll dump him, but I don't want to pull the trigger if he comes back in next week.

Getting concerned myself

Site has him listed as test, and obviously he didn't get up

Calf problems are the classic "old man" niggle that can drag on for weeks. He sits on the bench again this week (Just once can I field my best 22???!!!) as I need to get McKenzie and a premo this week, and next week lets hope he returns or we get some clear news

Part of me is thinking it could be serious due to how much his sudden withdrawal has flown under the radar
Agree RD - You are not alone in wondering when best 22 can be played,

I am starting to thinkSimpson's "calf" injury may be a bit like Dan Merrett's "hamstring" strain (I had picked him as a POD and looked good after his 86 in Round 1) and has not played since and still listed as 2/3 weeks. probably as you see with age these injuries are troublesome and take their time to heal.

Will await next weeks announcements as there are other trades that must be done to avoid donuts.

Calf injury is one of the worst. At least hammys you know are 2-3 weeks or 6+ if significant. If its an older player it can be 3-4 weeks with a calf but sometimes it's just the one. A nightmare for Supercoachers :(

Yep, other soft tissues go ping and you just know it's good or not.

Ping a calf and it just feels that uncertain sponginess.

Boy, this is turning into a week of carnage! With Heeney, CEY, Simpson already out and Hogan and Geary withdrawn, many will have started Lonie, Salem and B. Smith. Ouch.

Didn't look too bad, he was testing it on the boundary and saying he was feeling pain when taking off

Just a knock to the fat pad from what I've heard, could(/should?) be right to go this week.
