NVB has been a lock for many of us for most of the pre-season, is anyone going off him after his NAB games or does the old "take no notice of NAB Cup form come into play??

Doesn't really come into play for premiums, but he is not a premium

Would have to be an extreme shortage of mid rookies for me to pick him. I don't want him

Pkbaldy

He's got a team mate who should be playing.... He is nearly 100k cheaper and will probably score as much as NVB.

SydneyRox

if guys like Newton, Vandenberg, Cripps and CEY all get named I think NVB is done.

Not in my team ATM

Sabretooth Tigers

 :)
Very definitely in my team ATM,  BUT  purely as a plug until selection night. Just holding a monetary value that should give me a better player and some spare change.   ;)

quinny88

Only Nab but wanted to see 70s and 80s from him to justify the 215k.
Going with Cripps and Newton at this stage

Mahogany

Have Cripps and NVB ATM but seriously cnsidering chnaging to this.

He is most definitely not a lock.

Wouldn't be the worst pick in the world but he won't be in my team.

Ricochet

Still got him in my side. Fielding 4 rookies now so need someone with solid JS

shaker

He has JS but his scores have not been that good other players around his price have shown they have the ability to outscore him , not a lock for me

Holz

He isnt a rookie he doesnt need to prove himself.

2008 22 games 85 average
2009 21 games 79 average
2010 19 games 82 average
2011 22 games 84 average
2012 22 games 77 avergae
2013 19 games 67 average

im going to take that as a better guide than a few slightly competitive kick arounds.

I see a clear downward trend there, playing on a wing won't help his cause either. Based on a 75 average he'll be 360k by round 11, a gain of 135k. Would much rather Wells who will make similar money but will be churning out decent scores.

This. Got rid of him for Wells on the weekend.
