He isnt a rookie he doesnt need to prove himself.

2008 22 games 85 average
2009 21 games 79 average
2010 19 games 82 average
2011 22 games 84 average
2012 22 games 77 avergae
2013 19 games 67 average

im going to take that as a better guide than a few slightly competitive kick arounds.

Hasn't tonned up in nearly 2 years, and his NAB scoring was poor

JS is the only appeal, but like I said earlier if there is a real lack of good scoring rookies rd1 then I would pick him

Blues fans seem to think there isn't a spot for Cripps and Biggs is injured so NVB and Newton could be the only playing 200k rookies come rd1. There's only a few cheap rookies that are looking like good scorers (Heeney, Vandenberg, CEY) but again we need to see what rookies actually get a game.

If guys like Laverde, Cockatoo, Boekhorst etc get named rd1, I'd rather NVB over them because those 3 for example are sub bait and not big scorers anyway

I just droped him but i might bring him back in. It will be between him and cripps. I only have space for 2, 200k+ mids now I have restructed to bring in a premo m5

What impact will Brad Crouch's absence have, if any?

Don't think it will have any

Ellis-Yolmen should be the big benefactor of Crouch getting injured
