Not too concerned just yet, paid attention to my premos but since the rookies need to get named round 1 i will wait till then to see where it lands

SC Gold this year has a bye tool. You can select which bye round to look at and it will fade out the players who have a bye that week so you can get an idea of what your side looks like. Pretty handy!

Most important thing is to have plenty of R12 & R13 rookies to upgrade at their bye rounds to R11 & R12 bye round players.  Also make sure you don't have excess players in 1 line over any of the bye weeks.  That way you can maximise your scores over the bye rounds by having 19-21 players on the field and dropping 1-3 of your worst scores each week.

Am I the only one looking at trying to field the full 22 in the bye rounds, at the moment I have 9/12/9, at this point I will only have 21 round 11 due to my ruck situation, plan on rectifying my round 12 issue over the next 2 weeks and trading hard during the byes,

I also have 9/12/9, but I don't think having 22 every round is possible unless you have 8/11/11 setup.  Will be happy with 20 in each round.

Currently I have 10/10/10 2 non players in Lambert and Read so if they continue to play my bye playing set up will be 19/18/19 so will be keeping an eye on it during trading if I do before byes.

I've got 13 players playing R12 at the moment - Will bring in another this week and then 3 more after the R11 bye. Just need one more to have the full 18 - Hopefully a rookie pops up this week

I can press the playing round 11 and the 12 and then 13 button and from what I can see my current team will be as follows

Round 11  -  18 playing
Round 12  -  19 playing - includes Rocky
Round 13  -  18 playing.

Obviously there will be changes in both the real world and in my fantasy world, but doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. Also, I suspect I will get guys who have had the round 11 bye into my team for round 12.

Can anyone be bothered to comment?

Right this second, I have:

Round 11- 21 (including Lucey and Goddard)
Round 12- 16 (including Rockliff and Lucey)
Round 13- 17 (including Rockliff and Goddard)

With my bye trading plan (we all know trading plans never go 100% to what we want):

Round 11- 21 (including Lucey and Goddard)
Round 12- 17 (including Rockliff, Lambert and Lucey)
Round 13- 19 (including Rockliff, Lambert and Goddard)

So hopefully Rockliff plays after his byes and Lambert comes straight back into the seniors.

Round 11 I can field a full side (yep, 22 playing)
Round 12 more drastic, currently 14 including Rocky
Round 13 I can field 18 including one of Rocky/Heeney

I planned for byes last year meticulously and it all turned to crap when they came around anyway so I'm not so worried this year. If I tank round 12 but come out with a stronger team at the end of it, I'm ok with that. However there are still some looming changes which change my situation, I was planning on bringing in a round 11 bye prem mid and defender plus figured a round11 or 13 rook or two would pop up, a la dumont and maybe Hamling. Lambert could come back, Steele could come in, who knows. So I'm not stressed.
