Hi everyone. This is my first year in Supercoach, and I wanted some advice about my team. I would appreciate any advice you might have:

DEFENSE: H. Shaw; L. Hodge; M. Jaensch; J. Newnes; N. Brown; H. Goddard (C. Delaney; A. Saad)
MIDFIELD: G. Ablett; S. Pendlebury; r. Gray; A. Swallow; L. Neale; B. Newton; I. Heeney; B. Boekhorst (J. Anderson; A. Vandenberg; N. Freeman)
RUCK: T. Goldstein; N. Naitanui (T. Read)
FORWARD: J. Bartel; D. Martin; D. Swan; T. Walker; C. Salem; M. Clark (T. Lamb; J. Steele)

I only have $1,800 left in my budget.

I like the Jaensch pick.

I would be tempted to move Gray fwd and ditch Walker

This would let you bring in a solid Mid or a cash cow.

A cash cow mid might leave you enough coin to upgrade Delaney to Lumumba

Agree with maygs,

Gray forward, Tex to tbag.

Grab Lids or Buddy instead of Bartel (my opinion only - Geelong on the way down - finally).

Is Ablett fit yet?

Love seeing 'Bert' in quite a few teams - ageless isn't he?

Good team and structure.
i like the Gray pick assuming you are going to move him forward at some stage.
Swan will struggle this year looks like a 90s player.   So consider getting rid of him
Swallow also looks to week.   if you go Swan to Bont will give you cash to upgrade swallow or neale.

also not sold on hodgie in backline could put in lumumba for same or better scores as he looks like playing through the middle this year

Hi guys. I have been tinkering constantly for the past few weeks (who hasn't, right?), but I think I'm very close to a finished side (but of course I will change out any non-starting or non-promoted rookies). I'm not sure if I've butchered my team or if it's looking good. Thanks in advance for your advice:

DEF: H. Shaw; J. Newnes; H. Lumumba; N. Brown; K. McIntosh; J. Hamling (A. Oxley; A. Saad)
MID: S. Pendlebury; N. Fyfe; J. Selwood; O. Wines; A. Swallow; L. Neale; P. Cripps; I. Heeney (A. Vandenberg; C. Ellis-Yolmen; N. Freeman)
RUC: T. Goldstein; I. Maric (T. Read)
FWD: R. Gray; D. Martin; D. Swan; M. Bontempelli; C. Salem; M. Clark (J. Hogan; K. Lambert)

I have $6,200 left. I know I'm thin in defence, but thought it was spread enough elsewhere. Thanks guys!

I'd go Neale > Anderson and then upgrade Brown to best avail.

Agree to change Neale out and maybe put in strong scoring rookie like Newton.
Backs look to weak and I need upgrading.  Goodes may get upgrade this week.
Excellent rucks, probably top scoring pair this year.
Good forward line up.  Like you I think the Bont will kick on this year and avoid 2nd year blues.
