Parker easily. He's on the way up, he has that game breaking ability. He's durable. He's cheaper.

Unfortunately for JPK, although only mid 20s, he's now a "managed loads" player to prevent his groin flair ups.

He still played 23 out of a possible 25 games last year, prior to that he had a perfect record over 4 years.

Great responses so far, thanks! JPK taking the cake easily but there's a bit of love for Parker.

Do you thing JPK's groin flare ups are a factor to be considered? Will it keep him out for even just one game? In my opinion, if you are starting him or Parker, you want them to be keepers. Taking this into account, if Kennedy misses a few matches, this could be enough to push Parker's overall points ahead, even if he averages less. Parker would then be the better selection.

Just to expand a little. The reason JPK dropped off in 2013 was because the club didn't have a handle on his training loads. He played hurt. Legend to get all 22 games in, but the groin dragged his scores down. He bounced back in 2014 when they changed his training loads. The commetary at the time from the club was that this was now the new normal for him.

Overall though in terms of average, I see JPK and Parker being close to each other here. The reason why I say Parker is because you're getting it for cheaper.

They're both freaking guns.

Believe they are both too good to leave out of top 8 mids. So really only one reasonable answer, pick the one you want now and swing the other in after the round 12 bye. But just to answer your original question, I like Parker.    :)

Agree with the top half more than the second  :P

Just greasing the tracks for the Parker hype train.

He's overrated and shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as JPK. Could be the 8th best mid, but that could be said about 30 other guys including a couple of his teammates.

you should be on the train, no doubt parker top 8, but jpk just as likely top3

JPK by a mile. Tried and true.
Parker is good but one good season.
Can't see how anyone would choose otherwise.
