Yep, pretty close there Mat.

I think Hunt will start, but his disposal was disgusting at times today, looked a bit lost almost.

I'd have Astbury in over Grimes, love them both but there's only room for one. Astbury gets the nod for me.

I think Ben Lennon/Chris Knights/Nathan Gordon/Kane Lambert/Sam Lloyd/Taylor Hunt/Kamdyn McIntosh are all fighting for two spots at the moment.

I think Lloyd has come on and kicked goals the last two games as the sub so the coach might see him as ideal for that role. Then assuming the Hunt spot is up for grabs McIntosh goes to half back, Ellis to the wing leaving one spot open between Lennon, Knights, Gordon and Lambert while Hunt and Ricky Bobby battle it out for tagging duties?

Yeah, Lloyd's played the sub role nicely, he's fantastic in front of goals. He might even start up forward if Morris goes down back. We've had Ricky for a couple of years now, he's done well and Dimma loves his to death for his versatility, I think he starts and could get a run with role. I'd probably start Knights as I like what he brings to our side, he's a class act.

Considering how much footy Knights has missed I would think he starts in the VFL. He has only played one practice game from memory, he is a class player and was one of the better half forward flanks going around when he was up and running at the Crows but he might be underdone. Lennon has kicked a couple of long goals in the NAB which might have stood out with the coaches.

I'd say you're right there. He might not have played enough to be a walk up start, some good early form should see him play though. I want my boy Beatle to play, he's been played at half forward and half back so he's also pretty versatile now which allows us to shuffle a number of boys around.

Whats the chances of lambert and McIntosh playing round 1?
Lambert's chance are probably slightly stronger than McIntosh's. They're both battling for spots but should get early games, not sure about a Round 1 start, Lambert probably the more likely of the two.

Lloyd is a goal kicker, so I think we need him. Maybe he takes Gordon's spot.

I think Knights had another minor setback, so he'll start the year in the VFL.

I really don't want to see Stevie Morris up forward. I understand what Dimma is doing, but he's not the answer.

Dimma said they were looking to play Conca and Vlastuin more down back, so interesting to see what happens there. Also keen to see what he does with Griff/Ty.

Also, I think McIntosh plays round one. Looked good so far.

But yeah that looks pretty good Mat.

With Lloyd in the side and starting forward, Morris doesn't need to, I hope Dimma realises that.

They keep saying they want him to replace Push-up as the pressure forward but it doesn't really make a lot of sense.
