It seems like it is just precautionary. Obviously he isn't fit to play for the next 2-3 weeks, however I think the 4-6 weeks is listed just because the Saints don't want to take any risks with him. It's probably the right thing to do as their forward line is good enough to challenge any side at this point in time.
