Ah yes first post of the year, Right so Brandon Jack is meant to have had a massive pre season, he looked pretty good in the nab cup game however the concern is whos spot is he going to take? As a Swans supporters I very unsure if he can break through for rd 1, he is going to need to displace a Cunningham, Heeney, Mitchell, Lloyd or Bird.

Been round for a while now would not surprise me if he broke into the team this year

AaronKirk

To me he is one of the fringe players who will be in and out of the side.

i dont know as i ddint see the first NAB game. He would be up there, just depends upon when horse wants to blood him in the 1s

SydneyRox

Heeney/Jack/Lloyd/Robinson and to a certain extent Cunningham will all be vying for the last few spots in the team. Most likely getting vested and playing full games only when injury or in hot form.

Jack and Robinson though have been training with the fwds so that to me gives them a slight edge over Heeney and Lloyd.

I think he's gonna be too busy working on his Uni assignments this year ;)

sammy123

Longmire rates heeney so he would be close to a rd1 debut. Problem is i have a huge feeling it would be as the sub

potentially but just because Henney isnt in the best 22 doesnt mean Brnadon Jack isnt behind him, still in the cue.

The fact that Dew mentioned Heeney and Towers and not Bjack would say to me that he wont play R1

SydneyRox

Heeney will 100% play round one. Towers most likely as well, they have been two of the better players in the NAB

Will one/either or both cop the vest? Hard to say. Lloyd would be my front runner for green ATM and Tippett the red, assuming we are well in front of the bombers on the scoreboard.
