Hopefully just rotating the numbers. I wanna see stretch have a go  8)

T Dog

If Hogan busts loose like did Mitch Clark did last night, should make finding the right fwd POD even more important out of the 4 spots left.  :-\

Lol, I probably would too.

I think the other way I might cry (in a positive way) was if Toumpas got 40 disposals, but that's about it

I'll go into cardiac arrest if Toumpas gets 40.

Kent has some bruising on his heel so having a rest.

Oh okay cheers

Didn't see it, but happy we won.

But researched a bit... 2.5.17 to 8.7.55 last half is a shower house half of footy.

And then you consider that the dogs had these guys not playing: Murphy, Wallis, Dahlhaus, Crameri, Wood, Macrae, Hrovat, Tom Boyd, Roughead, Stevens and Picken

Then really there isn't much to be happy about, especially having close to our full team and the statement "treating it like round 1"

Think I prefer our Freo result than this  :(

Purple 77

The MAJOR positive in this is Salem though!

And kudos for Toumpas for getting 24 possessions, probably a PB for him.

Big Mac

Several individual performances worth noting, as well as the fact we had no injuries. As a team though, that was a shocking last half

Toumpas got involved which is good - still making poor decisions though and some wayward kicks - wouldn't have him in the round one side

Reading through demonland... fark. The things said and the general vibe tells me this was one of our more common halves of footy, you know, the classic patheticness say in a typical game against West Coast or whatever game where we look very poor.

And the Toumpas hate, oh my, although there are a few that said he played well.

But yeah, it sounded like the same ol';
Can't kick it into our inside footy to a target - because we don't look
make EVERY pass harder than it should be for the recipient
I'm also guessing we kept playing on which made it harder for us, rush the decision and fark it up... you know, the normal stuff.

^^ basically our second quarter against the dockers. I remember noting in the third quarter in that game, is that we took a moment to assess our options before playing on or make a decision, hence why our third quarter was so good! I have a feeling that's probably what we did in the first half Mac?

I'm definitely gonna watch the replay of the first half when it comes up, just not sure I wanna watch the second half and be re-acquainted with that all-to-familiar feeling of helpless-frustration and disgust.

I did manage however, to grab a positive quote in Demonland (I know, I was surprised too)

QuoteNo need to panic
When the game was there to be won we slaughtered them
After halftime we clearly weren't very interested in the scoreline which is completely understandable in a practice match
I think a number of more important players did not get on the field much in the 2nd half
The wind buggered us up a bit and the usual pathetic umpiring saw us get about 45 HTB decisions with no prior opp go against us
I just don't put much stock at all in that game

Having not seen the game and become emotionally involved, the guy has a point. But all the same, the dogs were playing their seconds VS our 2 to 3 players away from our best 22.

Yeah that seems to be what the Demonlander's are getting at too.

They also targeting the same culprits in McKenzie, Grimes, M.Jones and Garland... do they have a place in the 22?

I still think Grimes MIGHT. Garland should at least be given a chance to show his form in 2013. But not sure about McKenzie, and always thought M.Jones was a list filler from day one.
