Harry Lumumba.  Don't really know how popular he is but think he deserves way more hype.  Could comfortably be a better pick than Newnes.  Midfield role, has shown his high ceiling before, fresh start.  Plenty to like.

Been plenty of hype for him around here  :)

This

I have had Lumumba in my side since SC opened but I took him out last night for one guy that isn't getting much hype in Harry Taylor. He averaged 94 in 2013 and averaged 102.5 over the last 8 games in 2014 with two poor scores at the end to bring that average down.

I am not hearing much talk of Shane Mumford, and he is only in 5.68% of teams.

Has a huge ceiling as he showed last year, not only racks up the hitouts but also tackles and gets disposals around the ground which helps his scoring compared to other ruckman. Has had his first full pre season in about 5 years and does the majority of the Giants ruck work.

A lock at R1 for me.
Yep, same.

I think a lot are scared off by the fact he's never played a full season and to a lesser extent his price.

The rest are on the Goldy/NicNat/Belly bandwagons.

Mummy and Ivan have been my rucks since day one.

This has been my ruck combo for the last few weeks.

Mumford's first 2 games are against St Kilda and Melbourne, I'd be surprised if he doesn't get 140 in both of those!
Started last year with 132, 158 and 164. Rounds 2 and 3 (158 and 164) were against St Kilda and Melbourne respectively.

Missed the next 6 weeks with back soreness (no surprises). Returned in Round 10 for a quiet one against my mob (Tiges) and only scored 40.

The next 4 weeks were Hawks, Dons, Lions and Blues and his scores were 115, 112, 123, 152.

Only 2 tons over the next 6 weeks but had a 99 against us this time around.

Proceeded to finish the year with 112, 165 and 101 against Melbourne, Collingwood and the Dogs.

Locked. Just make sure you have adequate cover. Although, I'm convinced this is the year he plays a full season!  8)

What about Hamish Hartlett and O'Meara?

What about Hamish Hartlett and O'Meara?

O'Meara had surgery and Hartlett seems to get injured too often, plus with Gray, Boak and Ebert etc he will never reach big enough numbers

Hartlett will eventually be a better SCer then Ebert and Boak. Maybe not this year now he's hit groin trouble, but soon

He has all the assets to be a superstar, but similar to Gray, injuries have held him back. Was the first tagged a couple of years ago when he was up and about (aand we all had him in our backlines), but with a small injury the other day, I dont have the confidence he'll go big enough this year to be worth a look.

J Kelly anyone?

Just dont think he'll get the mid minutes he'll need to be a worthy fantasy pick.

The only thing putting me off him is the inevitable resting.

Is it just me or is Bellchambers going to score nothing or what? Know a few draft teams have had him. Would like to see some NAB form. Then of course there's the deadline that could change it all.

Josh > James

I was looking as well. Has been so consistent for so long... and he is a midfielder not a defender. But as a rule of thumb there has been one player in living memory to climb back up a hill after being over it. Boomer Harvey. Statistics would suggest Kelly will continue to fall until his retirement. But stranger things have happened.
