Mr Adams

Nathan Jones.

I am a Dees fan and have had him in my team all pre-season. He is rock solid and I think is flying under the radar in a big way. Has shown massive improvement in the last 2 years, and now guys like Tyson etc will take some heat off him.

Only issue is he will keep copping the number one tag, and his ceiling is not as high as some others. His price now is fair, but I think he will avg 115-120 this year.

Jones is solid and flies under the radar every year, much like Priddis does.

not fancy and not exciting to non melb/wc fans is about the only reason i can think they continue to fly under the radar

115-120 is a huge call, but is he really no.1 on the tag radar? Seems to be more effective going to Tyson! I fail to see him exceeding 110 because of the simple fact Melbourne don't win enough games. One of my faves though!

Big Mac

Just brought in Mumford - Could give me a massive jump on everyone else if he fires early. If he misses a game here and there, I'm already starting BC so it shouldn't be an issue

Not worried about the new scoring system Big Mac?

I had Mummy in for a while...
took him out
- out of fear the new scoring system will bring him back to the rest of the 'mere mortal' rucks.
- and the potential to miss games in line with his history.

Very afraid he is going to come out in 'Mummy super-human form' and demolish this hypothesis though... with his best pre-season in years, he is a scary prospect to us doubters :-[

With that GWS midfield though....won't every hit out be to advantage? Atleast, that's what I'm hoping.

Very real chance he pumps out multiple 150s out the gate though

What do y'all think about Brandon Ellis from Richmond as a sneaky Point of difference. Steadily increased his average every year he has played and you would think he wouldn't be a huge target for taggers in a team with Cotchin and Deledio Running through the midfield.

Wish he was a defender

I'm fearing this too by not having him. Scored 99 in a half last week (Yes he's opp was rubbish) but having a full pre-season too - If Ablett does in fact not get up I could use that cash to turn Maric into Mummy!

Nathan Jones is just a solider too, and I agree in the same boat as Priddis too, but I would pick Priddis over Jones. As mentioned I don't think Jones can reach 115 just yet

Will be a future lock but not someone I'd start just yet

Haha. I still have Goldy and Nicnat at the moment, I can afford to upgrade Goldy to Mummy... the jury is still out

1st year as 100+ scorer in 2014 with 108 ave.

Has a 4yr ave of ~96.

I reckon he'll be in the 95-105 range IMO.

+ve - doesn't miss games though;

07 - 21
08 - 21
09 - 20
10 - 22
11 - 22
12 - 21
13 - 22
14 - 22

Big Mac

Chunk will definitely score better with an actual forward line to kick to - How much better is the issue. I don't think it will be that much
