FINAL TEAM: Will Hoskin-Elliott, Jarrod Pickett and @RoryLobb come out of our squad with @tomdownie44 & Jake Barrett to start as subs.
Hm, that's interesting.

Means Phillips plays alongside Mummy to start. Interested to see how Downie does when he comes on.

Philips named round one means people shouldn't pick mummy?

Nah, Phillips won't hurt Mummy's score.

I'm looking at it from the perspective of bench cover for SC.

If we can work out which of Phillips/Downie/Lobb is favoured the most, they might be worth picking as R3 for if and/orwhen Mummy goes down.

I don't think any of Phillips/Downie/Lobb will play much when Mummy does, because the Giants have enough talls as it is and they'll probably pinch-hit when need be.

Agree with all this ... I did have Phillips at r3 in earlier teams but now do not have the cash

Ideally Downie is the one as he's the cheapest at 123k.

Scored a solid 79 vs Gold Coast in the first NAB game, I'd be happy for him to score that weekly in Mummy's absence.

No Lobb is disappointing. I was hoping to get a look at him and he was a potential R3 with Mummy almost certain to go down at some point in the season

Phillips would be the first choice if Mummy goes down, but Downie showed a bit as a forward so he's more likely to play in the same team as Mummy IMO.
