It's harder to qualify for Champs League than it is to maintain your spot. To qualify you need to have an excellent year with some luck, to keep your spot you only have to have a solid year with some luck.

Make that x1000 in my case. Scraped into 8th courtesy of Wines' injury diddling Shane's Shakers of a win and him being the unlucky one and not me.
Thought I had no chance with Sunday's games to go and was feeling ripped off...4th on total points in the league and to finish 9th. I was resigned to my fate and was surprised to see I'd snuck in hours after the round had finished due to work commitments... instead shaker can count himself stiff...5th on total points would be gutting for him.
