Is this guy a must have? Don'tknow a lot about him, tuned in to watch a bit of North on the weekend but didn't learn a lot! Is he predominantly a lock down player? A mate tells me he is in the North leadership group, is jobsecurity his key selling point?

sammy123

Lot of people picking him as a stepping stone. Might average between 75-80

But i'm not impressed with him

Fid

I have him in my team, under-priced because of injury last year

BigMac_93

Most people have jumped on him since Waters retired I think. He is a stepping stone but has good JS. I think he is one of the best options between 200-300k since there aren't enough defensive rookies.

I'd lock him in. He's playing all over the place for match fitness atm, should become a pure wingman come season start

Why what?

Explain to me why you think Macmillan will play on a wing this year. Do you have a contact at the club? Have you been following the training reports? I have only ever seen him play in defence.

My comment was tongue in cheek as I don't see why Macmillan will play on the wing this year and only really the coaching staff would know.

It's a bit rich to say my posts are garbage when you rarely provide any decent comments/advice yourself.

Holz

Hasn't shown to me any signs of being a good scoring back.

Guys like ibbo have gone 95 and Geary has had a few 80 seasons and throws in some monster scores..
Mac has shown none of that

The majority of his matches at the club have been as an outside wingman.  His price should rise because of his injury interruption last year. (fractured leg in round 3 last year, but finished the season playing the last 4 matches).  His price may also rise because Nth have improved which suits an outside player.  Not a keeper, but should rise in value IMO

Must just be the games that I watch where he seems to spend most his time in defence.

I feel he will play defence this year as Nth have a few defenders injured.  I have picked him over Geary because I feel he will make me more money.

I think he is good for 70 - 80 points a week at his price he has to be considered
