Has probably been done somewhere already but has anyone actually seen a sign that the great man is ready to go? Am seriously thinking of not starting with him and upgrading later. Is this a popular theme?

Gary is always the first picked in my team. Don't even think about taking him out, I will probably still pick him when he has retired.

Yes he will always be first picked even when he retires

Ricochet

Expected to play in NAB3. Don't even think about taking him out until you watch him get through that game...

then keep him in your side anyway

AaronKirk

Lock him in and think about all the other problems we all have before round one.

For team balance I won't be starting him. I'm going to bring him in after his bye... when he costs 1.1 million.

Slow start for GAJ in 2015 then...

honza

Ablett costs 6x the price of a rookie, so naturally I spend 0.002% of the time researching him that I do a Lambert or Vandenberg type.

RaisyDaisy

LOL meow and Rico :D

Don't think. DO!

shaker

Don't know why you would even have to think about having him , if he's playing round 1 and you don't start him fine but don't try and explain your theory's about not having the best player in the competition in your team  :P

I'm not starting him, so that means he'll go HUGE and be unattainable, and I'll be sitting in the corner crying while being ridiculed by the masses.

No you wont you will just miss out on his monster scores and fall behind like the one's that did not start with him last year

There is a failsafe plan with Gaz. GC play the 2nd game of the seasson. It is a rolling lockout every week in SC and round 1 you change your line up as much as you want. If Gaz is a late withdrawal round 1pick Rocky or any other mid you desire.

ronl

Don't know if Gaz's early scores will be as MONSTROUS as we're used to, given that Rocket is all out to spread it around a
bit more, but they'll be big enough for anyone without him to stick their head in a bucketful of dirty underwear, and beg for
forgiveness.
