Not seeing Cotch in too many sides?
Can anyone tell me what % of sides have him?
Anyone else seriously considering him, with a great draw/bye/pricetag I reckon this bloke could get back to his best...

Pretty sure I have never had him in any of my teams for as long as I have played

The problem I see with him is that he only had 1 great year, and has then backed it up with low 100's

I just don't see enough upside in him to push 115+, and I see more upside in guys that are even cheaper than him

For me, he has pretty much fallen into the same category as Marc Murphy. Showed us they can do it, but haven't done it for a while now, meaning there isn't really any great appeal about them because they aren't cheap or discounted. They're priced for what I expect them to score. Perhaps they will increase a few points in their average, but not enough to pick them

Cotchin is a Burnman. Had him in the last 2 season. Won't be sucked in again.

This.
Just not that good a player. I completely overated him these last few years
Prove me wrong Trent. Break a line

Ricochet

Still on a modified program due to hammy soreness. If he got through a full preseason I'd be all over him

Sabretooth Tigers

 :)
Perfect summation RaiyDaisy. Would only add one small point. His good year was when Deledio was playing  mid and was drawing the main tag. When he really learns how to handle that tag he will definitely be worthy of selection again.    :-\

This is the deal breaker for me, an interrupted preseason is always a red flag.

From a SC perspective he's not as relevant as some but to dismiss him as a footballer is missing the mark. He won the coaches award as MVP, he finished runner-up in the Brownlow and has 3 Jack Dyer medals at the age of 24. Don't know what else he could have done to earn his reputation.

If Cotch plays like he did in the last 7-8 games of 2014 then he's definitely a premo midfielder, it will just be a question of finding that consistency.

All I know is ive always rated him very highly. Had him in last year at the expense of pendlebury, watched every single tigers game and thought he was diabolical. Never seems to make any metres. Sloppy footskills.
Who knows what injuries some of these boys are carrying, so maybe there is a genuine reason.
All I know is, from watching him like a hawk all year last year, hes not that good a footballer...

Reckon you're being overly harsh, given he won a B&F last year and finished top 10 in the Brownlow I'd hate to think what a passable year constitutes. He struggled early given the lack of support in the centre square, when Maric returned and Miles arrived he was back to his best.

Anyone that was genuinely compared to ablett gets graded a little harsher.
For what he looked like he would become, he has been an enormous disappointment and can't see him as a midfielder being fantasy relevant.

I know I'm being harsh, for sure. I just don't think he has shown any reason why anyone would pick him.
