Lycett got subbed which is a good sign, Simpson must have faith in nicnats body
This gives me a heap more confidence in him.  Also makes it easier to believe leaving him out of the first two NAB games was all part of the plan.

Although the Eagles sure like to leave it late.

McInnes comes on though and he rucks too

NN is fit, just getting time into the legs now

Will hold but he's making me very nervous.

PICCOLLO

Be prepared for maybe 1-2 lowish scores early on. If you dont have the nerve, get yourself a goldstein.
However, if he stays fit, Nicnat will be pulling big scores.

Money Shot

I will be sticking with him!

Currently R2 next to Goldstein.  Wanting to keep NicNat in the team, but need to see more, or will have to upgrade to Jacobs.

The Eagles said during the week that this will be NicNat's only game during pre-season (not playing next week), so in retrospect he was always likely to play out the full game tonight.

66 from a full game

I know it's his first hit out, but I really want to go into rd1 having total confidence in my rucks, and I feel like I could be a little concerned

For me, I either keep him, upgrade him to Goldy or downgrade him to Leuy

I don't expect much from Luey, maybe a 80 average, but it does give me the benefit of using the saved cash elsewhere and giving me time to see who pops up as being the best ruck to upgrade him to, and NN could start off a little slowish. I know when firing he is Top 2-3 easily

Tough decision

bottlemart

I've got Goldy RD.  If I was to take Nicnat out, do you think Luey can do the job and bank some cash.  I have no faith in Zac Smith, Jacobs would be my other option, but premium price, have to downgrade somewhere to fit him in.

RaisyDaisy

I've got Maric at R1

I've also got Bellchambers in my forward line, so it's probably best that I wait to see what comes from the whole ASADA stuff, because if Belly misses the first few weeks, then I wont start Leuy without cover, which means NN or Goldy gets the gig

If Belly does somehow line up rd1, then I have no idea which way to go

Bully

I'm starting Maric, rather play it safe and go with the sole ruckman. If Nic Nat turns on a clinic I'll make a corrective trade but I'm not willing to accept sub 100 scores.

Kind of feeling the same way. Seeing as I've always had Maric, it's really a case of NN vs Goldy, and although Goldy cost more, it eliminates any concern

I guess the question is, is the 85k saving worth the risk vs reward? Don't think it is. NN would have to average 110+ for it to backfire

Minson gon eat him fo breakfast.

Goldy is also underpriced due to a sluggish start last year, his true value is up around Mummy & Jacobs price. I will also have the Goldy/Maric combo.

Big Mac

Tempted to go all out with Mummy/Goldy

jeesh

I'm gonna stick fat. A score of 66 is ordinary but I think it's a little hasty to just jump off after one scratch match. Say if Jacobs only played the 1 match in which he scored 41 and Mumford only 1 in which he scored 71 and Goldstein only 1 in which he scored 63 would we be seeing similar threads about those guys? He's got the runs on the board and last season he averaged lower than the 3 previous seasons so at the end of the day I can only see upside. Cox has retired leaving him as the no.1 ruck and so long as he avoids injury I can't see why he won't average 100+ this season unless the new scoring system doesn't suit his game style.
