I have no doubt NN is capable of being a Top 2-3 ruck, but the concern I'm starting to have is that it might take him a month or so to really hit his straps and get going

Might be worth starting Luey instead, then assessing who the standout ruck is and eventually upgrade him?

Couldn't give a rat's arse how bad his form is.  Not even too concerned about the injury.  However I'm 100% concerned by him playing second fiddle to Lycett. 

Will need Simpson to say "NicNat is our #1 ruck" between now and opening bounce otherwise he's out of my team.

I'll take the 35 considering he has only had 4 hit outs. He is just being eased into it, if he is up and running for round 1 he should be good to go. If not I might look at Minno depending on the ASADA stuff and Bellcho

There's no doubt NN is just being eased in. It's his first game of the season after all, and besides the last couple of weeks he did complete a full pre-season so I probably reacted a little hasty

He will be attending more contests when the real stuff begins, and that should see his scoring be fine

I don't think come the real season he'll be second fiddle. But the concern must be there that he will certainly be sharing the duties. We love solo ruckman, will Nic Nat get enough solo time to score big. I remember he and Cox at one point shared it and both dominated, could happen again?

Still undecided on this one, granted he may come out and blitz or he could start like a slug and set everyone back. If I pick Maric at least the weekly tons will start rolling in and there's always the prospect of a corrective trade if he looks to be hitting his straps. Lycett & Nic Nat together is a worry.

I wouldn't worry about Lycett. NicNat was able to score very well with Cox so I cant see Lycett changing that

As long as NicNat is attending the more ruck contests than Lycett, and he will, then he will be fine
