C'mon fella's we've all had at least one of these guys in our teams.
who's your top 5 out of the lot.

also throw in any thoughts you have about em.

I personally like Jong, i think he can jump to mid to high 80's, that's right i've got LINSANITY.

Footyrulz

No reason to get any other than Van Berlo, who is a proven 70+ scorer.

Newton could also be good, following on from his great NAB game.

strongly disagree I would rather miss out on a premo and get a really strong set of rookies.

I have NVB Biggs Newton and Cripps. They probably wont be like Polec and Tyson but they will come alot closer than the cheap mids.

RaisyDaisy

Fairly certain that I will be going with 2 rookies in this range, well lets say 150k-300k, because there's a good chance one of the two would be a Lang/Cockatoo type

NVB, Sexton, Newton and Biggs along with Lang/Cockatoo are the guys I am looking at.

For some reason I'm not feeling any love for Acres, Cripps and the rest just yet

I will only be picking one player in this price bracket and at this stage it is looking like Ben Newton. He was very impressive against Freo and I can see him playing in the midfield all year and averaging around the 80 mark.

eaglesman

I think Jong could be a good shout also as I think he will easily outscore a vastly more propular van berlo ... But at his price he needs to

Newton lock
Biggs is in my side at the moment but have to wait and see on him
Not feeling the love for vanberlo personally

Wish Jong was 50k cheaper

Nige

While I've got NVB and Biggs, I think I'll end up turning NVB into Newton.

I'd probably have Jong if he was a 50k cheaper as eaglesman said.

shaker

Would have to throw Clancee Pearce in there after his game the other night

Add DPP too, but 278k like Jong is such an awkward price for a mid

Pearce in the mids, Newnes in the backs, DPP link.

GoLions

Currently have NVB, Biggs, Newton. Will keep an eye on De Goey.

Have got NVB at M6 ATM but will have a tinker with Pearce there when we get a bit closer and lets see what he does in the rest of the NAB

Van Berlo and Biggs are the two but I have had in 99% of my teams as place holders and I have had Newton as well when I ran 3 expensive options at one point. I think I will only carry two of the three and then have someone like Darcy Lang/Jed Anderson fill my last two mid spots

Completely agree Holz, and have the same 4 haha. Pearce in def at the moment but struggling with the D6 spot, I like the idea of Brown and WhiteX as D7 and 8 but wondering if I'm spending too much down back. Still would rather get the money making happening and think 200k mids will probably be needed for that. Lin at 270 is too much for me though, I don't think he'll outscore NVB by much if at all...

I was looking at the best 22 for the Hawks trying to see how Jed Anderson would fit in. I used the premiership squad from last year as a starting point and I can't see Whitecross breaking in.

Probably Spangher and Duryea are the only two not locked in and one of their spots will probably go to Frawley.
