My thinking on Elliot is that his career has to go best case scenario to be worth pick 4.
It was honestly the right pick, if Bosa was still there in theory that was the pick, he was gone.

Ramsey isnt a lockdown corner, he is going to take 2 years to get to an elite level, so that does not fit with the teams time line

Cowboys window is the next 2 years, 3 at most, if you have seen how we play when we are playing well its controlling clock

In 2014 when we controlled clock our Defense faced 12 fewer plays a game on average, that's a better defense
I think I agree with this. RB's are usually one of the most high impact players in their rookie year and besides, the team goes as far as Romo can take them. If Zeke plays well that's a massive advantage to him and that offence will be monstrous.
That's it PM, he helps every aspect of the team, protect Romo, run heavy control the clock keep the D off the field

That assumes that Elliott's play will be a major upgrade on guys like Morris, McFadden, and Dunbar...and from what we saw from our last high-pick B1G running back (Gordon - 3.5 ypc, 0 TDs, 6 fumbles), that's not guaranteed.
They drafted a top prospect and tried running him with mashed spuds up front, completely different situation in Dallas

Gurley has turned out pretty well.

Zeke is a good player, I wanted him out of our division. However, having said that, Fournette is a better prospect, unfortunately we don't have a first next year to grab him  :P

Howie was on fire this offseason. He managed to trade the trash that is Kiko/Maxwell to move up in the first, got a return for DeMarsha Mary, brought in some good pieces for the defense to go with a really good DC, signed all our key FA's and extended our key guys like Johnson, Ertz, Jenkins etc. The only thing missing was Cox and a solid draft. I wasn't a fan of the trade up but I guess if Wentz ends up as good as advertised we will be in a great position in 2 years time while half the league is searching for their franchise QB.

Did anyone see Golic rip into Bradford just before?

I'll just say that neither Elliott nor Fournette had 3,864 yards last season...

Happy with taking a CB. Our depth there was really tested last year.

Inb4 Jukes said it was a horrible pick and biggest reach of the draft :P
