whay wasn't Brady in the Superbowl MVP ceremony ???

Tom Brady spent most of 2015 in the NFL's punitive crosshairs. But the New England Patriots star and three-time Super Bowl MVP has nevertheless agreed to return to the league's grandest stage.

The NFL confirmed Thursday that Brady will be among 40 Super Bowl MVPs who will participate in a ceremony Sunday prior to Super Bowl 50 that will honor the game's storied past. It will include 18 members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Bart Starr (MVP of Super Bowls I and II) and Chuck Howley (MVP of Super Bowl V) were not able to travel to the Bay Area but will appear via video.

Brady hails from San Mateo, Calif., roughly 28 miles from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, and grew up a fan of the San Francisco 49ers and fellow three-time Super Bowl MVP Joe Montana, who will also appear Sunday.

Brady's inclusion and/or willingness to appear was a matter of speculation given his alleged involvement in last year's Deflategate scandal, for which the NFL tried to suspend him for the first four games of the 2015 season. A federal judge eventually vacated Brady's suspension, allowing him to play the entire season. The Patriots made it all the way to the AFC Championship Game before falling one win shy of Super Bowl 50, which would have been Brady's record seventh appearance.

A three-judge panel on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit will hear oral arguments March 3 in the latest round of the Deflategate drama, and Brady could potentially be forced to serve a suspension in 2016 if the final legal outcome is not in his favor.

But for now, he will play nice with the NFL on the Super Bowl stage he helped inflate with his sublime performances over the years.

They didn't even mention him :o

Brady was there but he came on stage after his first MVP, whatever one that was.

There aren't many drives which end in fumbles that are good for a team :P
