I'd hold mate. They have as good a chance as any to come out of the NFC and I think they'll be favoured in their first playoff game.

I dunno, Seattle at home maybe, Seattle on the road not so much. They are really struggling to establish the run with Beast Mode and Rawls out injured. If they have to play the Pack they are cooked. Then again, the Packers are struggling the last 8 weeks.

Seattle went into Green Bay and won last playoffs, granted Seattle were playing much better last year but so were Green Bay..

My guess of the line if they meet up in week 1 would be Seattle -1. But could easily be wrong.

Cap has been handled poorly, Romo can be elite and the window is closing for him so im ok with the win now ideal

Ware was passed his prime, Murray i wanted to keep but based on prior cap handling and Dez $, the right player was kept

I wasnt gonna go with "we would have won the division if" i hate if's, look at the Cheatriots, still competitive and decimated

My point was the Sheagles ceiling is low, lower than i think we all thought, everyone expected way more from this team

Mat0369

The reason it's low is because the coaching is flat out awful. Hence why if we keep Chip another season we're screwed but if we bring in the right guy the mess he has created is salvageable. We have some really good players on both sides of the ball, a defensive coordinator that's not a moron and an offensive game plan that is more then 6 plays goes a long way. This isn't Tecmo Bowl yet Chip calls plays like it is

RiOtChEsS

do you think the "pace" at which the offense plays is the cause of some of those drops? #noodlescratcher

Mat0369

Matthews had question marks coming out of college on his hands. He had a really good year last year and was catching everything coming his way in the preseason. Hos had a ligament injury in his hand which is partially responsible, the other part is mental due to all the drops early. I think he only had one in the last 5 or 6 games.

Agholor is a rookie so I don't know what to make of it, you just have to hope he improves.

Ryan Mathews has never had good hands, hence Sproles/Woodhead in SD.

Sproles is all timing/flow of the game since he was being used sparingly and couldn't get in rhythm with Bradford.

Celek has been good for the most part, Ertz has always been hot and cold but has kept improving. The connection between him and Bradford is something positive to take away.

The other guys aren't NFL caliber players and shouldn't even be on the roster as WR's

fair enough.

this Cincy Denver game is heating up

didint waste any time :o

I told you it was coming. The only reason it wasn't done earlier is the win in New England. Lurie could see what was going on, he's in the building all the time, he knows there is a disconnect between coaches and players and then we have the butcher job from Chip the GM. Hue Jackson looks to be the first interview.

yeah all over it, who is gonna get the 1 game interim gig?

plumdog millionaire

Pat Shurmur, former Browns coach

Rate Hue Jackson but he has a history of not getting along with upper management

Where do you guys think Chip goes now? Titans, Dolphins, 49ers and Browns would likely be looking for HC's and maybe the Giants, Saints and Chargers

Mat0369

Yeah it's Shurmur, he is the current offensive coordinator and no one actually knows what he does on the team since Chip handled all playcalling and all positional coaches decide who goes in and out. Opposition game planning maybe? The only coordinator on that team worth anything is Fipp but they won't make the ST coach the interim coach. Oddly enough, the last Eagles ST coordinator that got a head coaching gig won a SB

Chip goes to either the Titans or back to college. Titans have his QB in MM and a vacancy, he'll get the offers to go back to college for more money though. Will be interesting to see if his brain takes the money or the ego gets the better of him
