12-0 is better then 10-2 last time I checked
The best analogy I can make is Freo and Hawthorn last year. Freo finished top at 17-5, but were they ever realistically better than the Hawks? Of course not.

The Pats are like the Hawks. Float through the regular season, and look vulnerable at times. But come time the real stuff starts, it's obvious how much better they are. Just need to get somewhat healthy.
Yeah they are better full strength on paper ;) But that's not where things stand currently. Currently the Panthers have been the best performing team in the league this season, and thus in my memory bank, they go down as the best team in my history of NFL :P

99% of hawks fans are bandwagoners too, so the hypothetical checks out.

Thats the problem with being a pats fan. They always win so even though I will support them in a slumo it never happens with Brady.

I guess you can call now a slump by patriots standard.

I'm going to screencap this post, and when y'all off the wagon in 1000 days' time I'll post it and lols will be had :3

Anyway, as an unbiased fan this is how I see it:
1. Broncos
2. Bengals
3. Cards
4. Hawks
5. Chiefs
6. Steelers
7. Pats
8. Packers
9. Panthers
10. Sir Gabbert and co.

Carolina aren't even in the top two teams of their conference, I agree with Jukes. They've had a cakewalk schedule, had amazing luck in close games, and are yet to have any injury setbacks. The Seahawks and Cardinals have more talent than Carolina, are better coached, and have loads of playoff experience. Would take them any day over the 12-0 Panthers.

@Jukes. Just wondering where you had the Pats this time last year? I'd argue we're just as good now as we were then and the competition is weaker this year. Everyone has been slobbering over how good the Pats are this season, yet when they lose two close games where they don't even have their two best receivers or two best defensive players, and everyone writes them off? But I take that back if you're ranking a Pats team that's without Edelman, Gronk, Amendola, Hightower and Collins. If so, 7 is probably generous. If I had to power rank the contenders I'd have it:
1. Pats
2. Seahawks
3. Cardinals
4. Bengals
5. Steelers
6. Panthers
7. Broncos
8. Packers

He can't even catch a soft pass from a Souths Half back. What hope does he have of catching an Eli Manning pass?

In more important shower, if McCaffrey doesn't win the Heisman on Sat/Sun it's a SEC-bias joke of an award
