Jordy out is a huge loss. They really need Lacy to lift and have a dominant season.

Jordy is great, but it's not as massive as it seems. I could put up numbers with Rodgers throwing me the ball. Their offense will be fine.

Need to shift around my fantasy rankings a bit now though  :-\

Jukes

Firstly, so...
Player X: 5/8 59 yards
Player Y: 7/9 91 yards TD
Player Z: 7/9 105 yards TD

Guess who's getting the universal praise? BR lead story atm, "Mariota showcases Mobile Throws in Win"

Nah, you couldn't. Jordy is a top 3 WR in the league, alongside Brown and Dez. Look at him absolutely burn doges week after week.

But basically,
Cobb slightly up
Adams, Janis, Montgomery gain draftable status in the late rounds
Rodgers slightly down

Yeah I am with Jukes. Jordy is a flat out beast that is very underrated. The guy is the complete receiver and it just helps he has Rodgers throwing him the ball. Not anyone can step in and have anywhere near the production he has. The Pack are going to need the run game to step up if they are going to be anywhere near first in their division. The Lions could overtake them now.

The Hayne Train is playing great today. Definitely see him making the team.

See I still don't. Bush will be the return man (We haven't seen him yet remember) and they won't cut Hunter before him.

It's not the Lions who could overtake them.. It's the Minnesota Vikings. AP back, another year of Bridgewater, some nice pieces on defense. I prefer them to Detroit - Suh was he only reason they made the playoffs last year imo.

Patriots agree to a 1-year deal with Reggie Wayne.

Part 2: electric boogaloo

Player X: 8/13 90 yards, 1-yard rushing TD
Player Y: 10/15 121 yards TD
Player Z: 3/3 33 yards

BR lead story? "Player X Has Strong Showing Before Early Exit", and there's "Matthew Berry says he might have to bump up Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Player X in his rankings after tonight's performance." Ofc again nothing about the superior stats/performance of Player Y.

Jay

Jordy confirmed done for the year. :(

The Berry one is understandable though. Rushing TDs for QBs are worth more in standard leagues. In terms of Fantasy Player X would still outscore Player Y. It's why Tebow was so good in Fantasy despite the worst QB not named Ryan Leaf in history

The thing is tho Winston is not an athletic QB who will run for 50 yards and a TD every game. He's miles behind the guys like Rodgers and Luck in the "pocket passer who can still run it pretty good" category, let alone guys like Kaepernick, Wilson, etc.

Winston had 7 rushing TDs in college - Mariota had 29 and Petty 21...

I'm even more convinced this week than I was last week. No way does Hayne make the 49ers roster. They won't cut Hunter and Bush and Ellington are ahead of him on returns, they won't carry 5 running backs

We'd keep him even if he wasn't that great, such great PR and exposure in Aus = more attention/viewers and $$$.

But Hunter is a pretty terrible player, Hayne is imo our third best RB behind Hyde and Davis, and it helps that he's an awesome returner - best on the roster I reckon.

So I just watched Philly put up 39 points in a half against the Pack. I know it is pre-season and that Rodgers didn't start, but damn it was impressive.

I wanted to see what we are paying to win the division and we are now the favourite. It lead me to check out a few other markets with some really good value.

Regular season MVP: JJ Watt $19. I think he has to be the best value pick, that is just ridiculous odds for someone that was so dominant last season. Only argument for him to be that highly priced is the fact he was so dominant and didn't win.

Most receiving yards: Julio Jones $7. Second fav to Brown at $6.50 but I think for yardage totals Julio could be the guy.

Highest scoring team: Philadelphia Eagles $8. The team is scoring at will in the pre-season, again I know it is pre-season, but holy f'ing sheet. At $8 they are ranked  5th and behind the Pats who will be without Brady for 4 games. Value bet easily there.

Most TD's: I have 4 guys for this category

Randall Cobb $17. He has a shoulder sprain, but he should be fine the start of the season. Packers will be missing Jordy and Randall was a TD beast last season catching 12. The fact he gets more looks means he should pull a few more down.

Megatron $21. If Megatron is healthy he is probably the best red zone threat in the league. It looks like he is healthy and won't be playing decoy, with a questionable run game and Tate to take a few looks away I think his TD totals bounce back.

Mike Evans $41. With inconsistent QB play last year, as a rookie Mike Evans still caught 12 TD's. Those numbers are super impressive, if Winston can build some chemistry with Evans there is no reason why that total can't rise, he is probably the riskiest of this bunch, but at $41 he still seems too good in terms of value.

This one is my sneaky fav

Jordan Matthews $51. He caught 8 TD's with Sanchize at QB for most of the year. See if you can watch his catch against the Pack early in the game, it is contested, he clunks it and his body control is amazing. If Philly score tons of points, this guy is going to get on the end of a lot of redzone looks. The kid is a beast and if Bradford is healthy expect those TD numbers to go up.

OBJ at $10 is also pretty good but I he obviously doesn't present the value that the other guys do.

Mat0369

And hopefully Teblow gets cut already. He is
