running out of time to get it sorted, suspension may stick due to that
Can't see it taking much longer. Remember, Goodell suspended Brady with no actual evidence, and then made himself judge for the appeal. It's a joke, really.

it is but he has that power. The judge can say Tom you did nothing wrong, goodell was just after you. However he can do that you guys gave him the power too. So i upheld the 4 game suspension.

remember this is law, common sense does not prevail. We all know Brady should get nothing and the patriots should have no fine and no picks taken.
sorry, just cannot agree with you guys ... Pats actions (leaving Brady aside as an individual) do not pass the 'sniff test' ...
its innocent until proven guilty. Unless i see one piece of solid evidence, he is 100% innocent. They havent even proven the footballs were deflated, let alone anything tying it to Brady.

why didnt Luck say something as soon as he touched a football.
It's hilarious that the officials didnt have time to even measure all of the Colts' balls ::)
insane that it is taking this long, logic says he is guilty but there isnt enough evidence, suspension overturned, *Tom Brady :-X

why does logic say he is guilty?

all i have heard is some footballs may have been deflated, lets look at the quarterback of the home team. Who incidentally torched them in the second half without alleged deflated footballs.
I just can't believe we're still talking about something as meaningless as the air pressure of footballs, especially when there's no evidence of any wrongdoing. We should be trying to work out how Brady managed to overcome a 10-point fourth quarter deficit in the superbowl vs the league's best defense - now that's something worth talking about.

omg spoiler alert much? :P

(Jay told me to watch the Super Bowl to get a better idea of how the intricacies work. Seems like a numbers game mostly so shouldn't be too hard to work out how to fantasy! :D)

Word is Greg Hardy was running around with his arm cocked back, fist clenched, ready to beat someone's face in but he couldn't find a Rams cheerleader

Mat0369

I read a report saying Tony Romo was seen cowering behind Jason Garrett clutching his arm while the fight was happening.  Same report said Jospeh Randle was in the middle of it, but he wasn't helping teammates, only scouring the field for loose change or dropped wallets while the ruckus was going on.

Benjamin tore his ACL

Definitely helps out the Falcons' playoff chances. Only Olsen is a threat on the Panthers' offense now, they'll need that defence to do all the lifting - luckily they have the #2 defensive guy in the league playing for them then.

JJ Watt, Earl Thomas, Darelle Revis, Richard Sherman, Von Miller, Justin Houston.. I could go on.. None of them play for Carolina  ???

Luke Kuechly is pretty beastly.

Rest of the defense, not so much.

Cam is screwed, he has the injury prone RB and one proven receiver. There are a few guys that could put up some decent numbers at TE/WR but they aren't going to catch TD's like Benjamin.

Kuechly has had 473 flowering tackles in 3 seasons. Forget about his 6 sacks and 7 picks. He was the #1 tackler in 2014, #4 in 2013 (a DPOTY year), and #1 in 2012 - his rookie year. Best tackling mike, best coverage mike, best run D mike. I've had Willis and Bowman on my side, Kuechly is far better than both of them. From current players I'd only rank Mosley, Clay, and Wagner near Kuechly (I project Alonso to join this group sooner rather than later).

1. Watt
2. Kuechly
3. Weddle
4. Houston
5. Smith
6. Harris Jr
7. Sherman
8. Thomas
9. Donald
10. Revis/Suh/Clay/Quinn/Quin/Miller

I can never understand the Sherman > Revis argument, but that's a different debate altogether.

Sherman has 24 picks in 4 seasons. Revis has 23 in 8*
*Including the season where he had 1 pick in 2 games.

Revis is inferior in coverage and far inferior against the run. If I could only have one of the two, I'd take Sherman 9 times out of 10.

But I'd take CHJ ahead of both.

Go back and watch the opening game of last season. When the best QB in the game refuses to throw at you (wouldn't even look at his side of the field) you know you're the best at what you do

Revis can still do more at a high level than any corner in the league. Sherman does his thing, and he does it really well, but Revis is unlike any other cornerback in the league, where you can literally ask him to do anything, and he can. Just look at the different range of guy's he had to cover last season... Meanwhile, everyone makes a big deal about Sherman blanketing "Davante Adams" etc.
