Was thinking the same thing, Fitzmagic or Petty would be a much better option to start this season.

Smith has 32 scores for 41 turnovers, 71.5 passer rating, 11-18 record.
Tebow has 32 scores for 16 turnovers, 75.3 passer rating, 9-7 record including a playoff win

One has started for the last two seasons and would have been starting this season. The other was forced out of the broncos and jets and hasn't played since 2012.

They will both be out of the league at the end of this season.

Fitzpatrick isn't great, but last time I remember him in a Chan Gailey offense he put up enough numbers to break the bank.

Finally, the judge asked what I've been wanting to know from day 1.. "What direct evidence incriminates Mr. Brady?"

The sooner they get this over with, realise the NFL made a huge mistake, and wipe the suspension. The better.

So Geno Smith was punched by a teammate in a locker room fight and will now miss 6-10 weeks with a broken jaw :o
Wouldn't be surprised if he threw a punch back but it missed by 5 yards :P

I love how the media is all hard over Hayne's big run. If I had a hole that big to run into I would've ran for 53 yards and I'm fat  ::)

Rivers has signed a contract extension with San Diego.

#474
Fair to say Mettenberger and Glennon >>> Mariota and Winston
But it'll probably just be two more good young QBs tossed aside because of high draft picks with m-m-muh upside. See the buccs start the season 2-6, Glennon called up to salvage the season, finish with a 7-9 record, then get asked to go back to the bench next season.

Good to see Hayne start off well, can only get better. Him, Hyde, Davis, and Miller should make for a good and interesting backfield.

Capper

Very impressed with Hayne's first game.

Should easily make the roster

Difference is, those first two blokes have low ceilings. You know what they are, they're okay. Nothing else.

Give Mariota and Winston a crack and back them in. Both can seriously play.

Winston has no running ability to speak of, and threw for 25/18 against an easy schedule of his senior year - absolute spud. Giving him a redshirt year or two in the pros could actually make him a solid starter, unlike feeding him to the sharks this season. Already been BTFO in one practice match, with a pick and a fumble. That's not even touching being a complete thug, like all FSU and Miami players.

Mariota is an enormous gimmick, was exposed hugely against OSU in the natty and it'll only get harder. Spread QBs never get good in the pros. Also threw a pick and fumbled in one practice match.

Next year's draft will half a dozen QBs better than both - Cook, Hackenberg, Goff, Kessler, Hogan, and ofc whoever gets the gig at OSU. Even Boykin is as good (shower) as Mariota.

yeah pretty much a certainty to make it now, much better than other spuds like Bush and Hunter.

BratPack

Hayne won't make the Roster, Practice Squad maybe but the Niners have their RB's set. Hyde, Bush, Hunter and Davis.

Meanwhile. New Team. Same Tim Tebow, why do any NFL teams sign this spud?

PowerBug

Maybe I should support Tampon Bay ;)
