Pats the favourites to land Percy Harvin. Wouldn't mind that.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Gore out means future GOAT Hyde gets more carries, we'll need to draft another guy and run them in tandem tho...would love to take Gordon in the first, and maybe some insurance late with a smokey of mine Zach Zenner, or maybe sign Spiller/Bush. Willis+Iupati out means we can keep Brooks on which is good and maybe even make another move in FA. Smith is a good pick-up and hopefully means we've seen the end of Crabtree.

Dan Skuta getting the money he deserves at the Jags (20.5/5), very good player but didn't get enough chances to show it.

He was cut from the jest. Wouldn't start ahead of Edelman, Amendola and Laflel. Hasn't started 10 games in a year since 2011, only use would be as a KR which isn't worth what he'd get paid.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

2 picks, an FF and <50 tackles isn't worth 14mil a year

Just looked and YOU HAVE GOT TO BE F'ING KIDDING ME

Bradford was awesome for the sooners, if he stays injury free he's an elite QB. Threw for 1700 yards and 14/4 in 7 games in 2013 at a 91 passer rating. Worth the risk if Chip doesn't like Foles. Don't know about giving away the pick upgrade tho...

Jay

You know why his INT numbers are low, right Jukes? No one throws to him because he completely shuts down 1 half of the field.

And actually matches up on elite WRs unlike Sherman. Jets got a bargain.

Harris Jr gets paid 8.5m a year on his new contract, and he had a PFF grade of 28.4 (1st) last season. Vontae Davis 5m a year for a grade of 21.8 (2nd).

Revis 14m a year for a grade of 17.7 (4th).

There is a big difference between college and the pros. Bradford has had 2 ACL injuries, is not mobile in the pocket and has a huge cap number. You trade your starting QB who has shown more then Bradford at this level with a low cap number AND picks for a guy that doesn't fit the offensive system you run.

Eagles offensive outs

DeSean Jackson - No return
Jeremy Maclin - No return
Shady McCoy - Kiko Alonso coming off an ACL
Nick Foles and picks - Sam Bradford coming off his 2nd ACL
Todd Herremans - 2 mill in cap space

In what word is this good?

3 of those guys were 26 years old so it is not like they are getting old

I am not sure if it's already been spoken about but Jessie Williams has been cut

Keep in mind that Revis has been elite for several seasons now. And is just coming off being the 3rd best player on a Super Bowl winning team. Most importantly, matching up on #1 WRs every week and destroying them - only time all season he got beat was in that Baltimore game. He's the best corner in the league.

Not disappointed we didn't pay him 14m a year - that's too much for a contending team to spend on a corner imo. But it's clearly a positive move for the Jets. Just hope the Pats can spend that money wisely now. Re-signing Vereen would have been a good place to start, but now we need to fill that role, along with another CB.

Have mixed feelings about Revis. On one hand it's, "You won us a Super Bowl. Thank you." And the other is "You come here for one year, then leave straight away for more money!?" :-\

@Mat - I heard the Eagles and Demarco Murray have "mutual interest". Thoughts on that? Or does Chip only sign guys coming off an ACL :P

Mat0369

Murray is another bad decision. Dude can't hold onto the ball, is injury prone and coming off a season where he had buttload of touches. He is also going to want a large chunk of change meaning a lot of guaranteed money. He isn't a better back then Shady and is goinvg to want to get paid a similar salary to the one Shady had. The Dallas line got a lot of credit last season with those running lanes meaning he isn't as good as his numbers

Totally agree. Dallas ran him into the ground last year and now, understandably, wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole. I could run for 4 yards per carry behind that offensive line.

I think Murray will end up getting the deal he wants from a shower, desperate team (Jets, Bucs, Jags, Raiders etc).

Do you think the Foles/Bradford trade was mainly about gaining the extra second round pick to help trade up for Mariota? ???

RiOtChEsS

AFC East just got nasty :o

Chip Kelly is completely gutting that roster, not sure what his plan is atm but it must be doing the fans heads in

We dont have significant cap room to pay Murray, Jerry's frivolous spending is still weighing us down from years ago

Philly GAVE UP the 2nd round pick for next year. There is a swap of picks this year (not 1sts) and the Eagles give up a 2nd rounder for next season and get a conditional 3rd back. The trade is THAT bad

That doesn't include the defensive side of the ball.

There is absolutely 0 direction right now. The Foles trade is the worst part, you are giving up picks to go with your young QB who has shown signs to get a guy with a huge salary and bad knees. I understand if there was a swap in first round picks and the Rams gave Philly picks for a salary dump, but Philly giving up picks to go with the bonehead move just stings. At least Sam Hinkie is gaining assets and cap room at the 6'ers, Chip is doing nada but dig himself in to a giant hole. I also read a report that Gore didn't want to come to Philly because of Chip which is why he backed out.

This also goes with the reports of him threatening to walk unless he got his way with personnel control. The story from last years draft that leaked out around the time that Chip was making these threats still makes me think Lurie screwed himself. Chip wanted Howie to take Taylor Hart (a former Duck) in the 3rd round of the draft last year. Howie managed to talk him out of it saying he could get him a lot later, but he was still persistent before caving and wanting him to draft another former Duck in Josh Huff. Howie has actually been pretty good at dealing with players and drafting once he was given full control when Fat Man left (Danny Watkins draft I think was Fat Man's last). This also had a lot of rumors going around that Marcus Smith was a Chip Kelly pick and resulted in the power struggle between the two for control on personnel and drafting. The article below says it was Howie that talked him out of getting Matthews in the first, but no one knows for sure that it was Howie that made the call on Smith

Mat0369

We just signed Thurmond to a 1 year deal. Something tells me Thurmond in Boykin out. They were trying to phase Boykin out the same way they tried Shady and Boykin is in a contract season and will want more then Philly will pay like Maclin

Mat0369

Ryan Mathews is also looking like he will sign
