Bit weird we didn't use the exclusive franchise tag on Dez, could we be shopping :-\

Reckon they could get a high pick for Dez, clear some cap room and maybe bring in AP and a couple other big FA names?

And who needs Dez when you have these guys :P

At least you didn't trade away your best player and quite possibly the best RB in the NFL who has been compared to a once in a generation talent in Barry Sanders for a guy coming off an ACL surgery. Chip has a hard on for Oregon players and I can see him pulling a Harbaugh and running back to college for cash after this season. He already threatened to do it for total control which saw Howie demoted. I am seriously getting to the point of F Chip Kelly. If he mortgages the farm for Mariota we will be screwed for a long time....

He wanted to take Taylor Hart in the 3rd before Howie talked him out of it and he ended up getting him in the 5th. At that spot he ended up taking Josh Huff (another Duck) who isn't exactly lighting the world on fire. You might as well call them the Philadelphia Ducks by May. If he goes all out to get Mariota I can't see it working well.

Cutting Herremans was stupid. Yes we need to get younger at O-line and I have said it all off-season, I wouldn't be upset if O-line was Philly's first pick, but Herremans was your most versatile lineman and only counted for 2 mill against the cap. Next season he is gone because that number jumps to 6 but to do it this year was stupid. Cole was open to restructuring and was critical to the veteran leadership on D. Losing that leadership killed them last time around when they let go of Dawkins, it also looks like DeMeco Ryans will be the next casualty which I think most were expecting, but again, veteran leadership and a great locker room presence.

Guys like Williams, Fletcher and Casey were expected. Casey was getting some ridiculous amount of cash for someone that is playing 6 snaps a season on offense. Fletcher is useless and Williams is all talk no ball. Now we have so many holes and not filling the positions gradually.

What is worse, Shady had openly said he was willing to restructure if money was the issue. First DJax, now this. Just wow

The more I think about it, the more pissed I get. Mike and Mike are talking about it. I hope the league vetoes it but even if they did Shady would want out now
